The materials, which were put up for auction by former President Joe Biden, will reportedly soon be returned to Trump following a fierce legal battle...
...The material, valued between $260 million and $350 million, was auctioned on GovPlanet, an online government surplus marketplace, in 2023 after Biden halted Trump's border construction in January 2021...
..."GovPlanet has reached an agreement, working with the Office of the Border Czar, to return border wall materials that were previously deemed surplus and sourced by the federal government to GovPlanet via existing contracts," the company stated.
"A third-party firm that has been contracted for construction of the border wall will take receipt of the materials over the next 90 days."

Trump needs to RUSH the border wall construction, and hire tens of thousands of workers to complete it ASAP. The OBBB allocated BILLIONS to it, but as soon as January 20, 2029 hits, it could all be halted.

It looks like Trump will block the entire border between the wall and the buoys (which got court approval). Too bad we couldn’t do it first time around but like Nancy said....Not $1 for a wall.
It had to wait for the BBB to get past before more wall was built. That’s part of the $147 billion for immigration. It’s been just over a month since signing so things are gearing up.

Yes, it is happening.
All the money that had been frozen when Biden came into office has been put onto contract since President Trump’s inauguration. Construction is now occurring in all four border States, though not yet at a high level (gap filling). The largest segment awarded is 27 miles in Arizona’s San Rafael Valley, East of Nogales, and West of Ft. Huachuca/Sierra Vista.
Perhaps as soon as next month, we will likely start seeing new task orders on standing contracts (like the Army Corps of Engineers’ contract vehicles) starting to be issued with the new money in the Big Beautiful Bill ($46 Billion lump sum - enough to finish the Wall). Big standalone new contracts should follow in short order. In the next several months, Border Wall construction will ramp up bigly.
All the priorities and specs are prepared, and proven performers are ready to bid. The money is on hand. It is going to be glorious!
One big change from the First Trump Administration Plan, is the addition 900 miles of floating barrier in Rio Grande, along the Texas/Mexico border.
