FBI Investigating Brutal Cincinnati Mob Beating, Interviewing Suspects
The Daily Wire ^ | July 28, 2025 | Mary Margaret Olohan

WASHINGTON—The FBI is investigating the Saturday night beating of a man and woman in Cincinnati, The Daily Wire has learned.

The FBI launched an investigation into the matter at Attorney General Pam Bondi’s direction, a Justice Department official shared with The Daily Wire on Monday evening. The official also said the bureau is already conducting interviews with suspects.

The news comes after Vice President JD Vance and other members of President Donald Trump’s administration condemned the incident, which took place Saturday night at the Cincinnati Music Festival.

Footage showed a violent mob throwing a man to the ground and kicking and punching him, then punching a woman in the face and apparently knocking her unconscious. The video quickly went viral online, and the city’s police chief vowed to identify and find the culprits responsible for the “cruel and absolutely unacceptable” behavior.

“What I saw, and I haven’t seen the full context, but what I saw a mob of lawless thugs beating up on an innocent person and it’s disgusting,” Vance said of the incident. “And I hope every single one of those people who engaged in violence is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”

“And they will be,” he added. “They will be so long as law enforcement in the state of Ohio take their jobs seriously.”

Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police President Ken Kober also condemned the violence, including the people who watched the mob beat the two individuals without attempting to help.

“The violence this video shows downtown is disgusting,” Kober told the local news outlet WLWT. “What’s equally disgusting is those who chose to watch and record instead of calling 911, attempting to defuse the situation or render aid.”

“I have full faith in the Central Business Section Investigators — they will make arrests in the near future,” he added. “It will then be the responsibility of the court system to hold these violent thugs accountable.”

Treating racial attacks by blacks as hate crimes or at least serious felonies, could go a long way to making our cities safer for non-blacks and probably blacks as well.

WOW! The last thing that the Leftists imagined was that Civil Rights laws would be applied in a COLORBLIND manner - they were only meant to apply to White people committing crimes (often non-existent crimes).

Yet ANOTHER GIFT from Trump.

Hmmm... do these “thugs” and that “mob” have anything in common that might explain this “random” violence?

How about the victims — are there any clues as to why they were targeted?

It seems something is totally missing from this analysis and these quotes... what in the world might it be?

From last night, News Nation:

Police identify suspects in violent Cincinnati brawl videos

Five charged so far; more arrests expected in ongoing investigation.

Will the DA drop the charges?

Will there be Hate Crimes charges since this was a racially motivated attack?

Will they be let out on $0 cash bail?

Will they ever be identified and their photos published over the local, state and national news?

My predictions: Yes, No, Yes, No.

That was generally happening up until 2009. Then things went to poo.

Cincinnati has a highly bifurcated demographic. They are a large number of lower middle class blacks and ghetto blacks and a lot of rich white persons. About 50-50 by numbers.

If you would go to the Monday morning criminal arraignment room in the Justice Center you would see close to 100% of all criminal miscreants are black. Oh, there might be a few drunk and disorderly white hillwilliams who couldn’t make it back to their squat, and a few white hoes or bad check girls, but anything really criminal is the exclusive territory of persons of color and that color is always black.

I’m used to it here and my approach is never go any place where more than a couple of black persons are present except maybe the grocery store in the morning and in a white neighborhood. I don’t care if someone sees it as racist, it works for me.

These feral animals have been getting away with this for too long. It’s time there were serious consequences.

I hope you’re wrong but I doubt it. If this continues there will be a full on race war and I’m afraid that’s where it’s headed.

What started the chimpout? I’ve seen a number of articles but nothing about what got the ball rolling.

I worked for Procter and Gamble for a few years in Cincinnati. 2000 - 2003. Plenty of nogo with areas back then. Except for their main HQ offices, most of the P&G sites were in the burbs around the city. Much safer neighborhoods. I never considered staying there permanently

This is what happens when power hungry politicians embolden minorities, to believe they are “special”, that they are discriminated against, that rule of law does not apply to them and to “fight back”.

“What started the chimpout? “

Other stories have said the beat down started with a “verbal altercation”. I want to know more about that.

“Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police President Ken Kober also condemned the violence, including the people who watched the mob beat the two individuals without attempting to help. “

I also want to know what happens if I get involved trying to stop the beat down. Do I get beat too? If I fight back do I get arrested for something? It’s not like the situation in Michigan when it was one guy going nuts with a knife.

It is really a lovely city to live in with beautiful parks and suburbs and very convenient. You can get a reservation to a top restaurant without knowing the owners and join a luxurious gold club without a grandfather who was a member.

But, the public schools are horrible and about 25% of the neighborhoods are “no go.”

And, common sense should keep white people away from the black rap club at 3am no matter where one is.

Note that there’s been zero media coverage. Now reverse the colors of the assailant and victim and how much coverage would there be?

The Cincinnati DEI Chief says they are going after all involved including anyone who may have tried to help. That is the reason people watch, they know the law will come down on them too. Her quote-

“Anyone who put their hands on another individual during this incident in an attempt to cause harm will face consequences,” Theetge said. “I don’t care which side of the incident or the fight they were on.”

—”Treating racial attacks by blacks as hate crimes or at least serious felonies, could go a long way to making our cities safer...”

Yes, it could and it should, but it will not.

Big cities have a separate and unequal legal system.

In too close for my liking Chicago, there are frequent stories about some of the workings of the “city system”.
This popped up today:
“Lewis, an off-duty officer working as a security guard at a West Side convenience store, was shot during an attempted robbery.

Alexander Villa, Edgardo Colon and Tyrone Clay were indicted in connection with the murder but had their charges dropped by former Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.”

“Relying on bogus media reports alleging misconduct by police and prosecutors, charges were eventually dropped by Kimberly Foxx, one of the worst George Soros supported prosecutors in the nation. The decision shocked prosecutors and police alike.”

Just another day in a big city.
