It’s hard not to come to the conclusion that it’s going to weaken our military force by undermining the role of women who have become, I believe, an intrinsic part of our military capability,” said Lieon Panetta.

Who loves the weakening brought on by women in combat positions and command, ever since he realized, while working for B. Clinton and dispensing US military secrets to the Chinese, that when the Democrats are in power, its their military to do with as they please.

Ridiculous. It’s like a cartoon. Sadly, it’s not a cartoon.

Women have a definite place in our military, they add value. It's been that way since I joined in 1966, and I've been impressed by many females in uniform.

That said, wokist DEI pushers who are gifted unearned promotions ahead of more qualified hurt the qualified females by having to prove themselves time and again.

Hegseth probably sees this dynamic daily.

Hegseth is trying to leave no room for doubt about the U.S. Military’s lethality

It ain’t political correctness and it ain’t rocket science, just common sense!

Segregated units for women. Medical, intelligence or supply.

Chilling effect? To get rid of incompetent dei hires?

Warming effect. Properly filled now, maybe.

As a graduate of the Naval Academy who visited just last year for a reunion...let's just say a lot of changes have been made that seem to make the place closer to a civilian institution.

Replacing the female Superintendent (not the first) with the very first Marine Corps Superintendent is going to lead to some welcome changes. He's not a ground combat guy, but he is a combat veteran pilot who himself is a USNA graduate from a time when things were tougher.

A VERY welcome change.

In what context would this image command respect?

Panetta, who in 2013 announced that all combat roles would soon be open to women — a shift that eventually came in 2015 — told The Hill that the Trump administration’s removal of female leaders from the ranks, often without explanation, will have impacts on morale for female service members.

One thing I learned in my 26 years of active duty was that the vast majority of women in the military did not like working for other women.

" . . . it’s going to weaken our military force by undermining the role of women who have become, I believe, an intrinsic part of our military capability,”

My prediction is that Mr. Hegseth's direction, if it is in fact a direction, will serve to strengthen military readiness and will diminish certain means of intimidation against male soldiers.

Have women become an intrinsic part of our military capability? It is so only in the minds of those who are a part of the whole unisex through same-sex movement.

Mr. Hegseth's direction, if it is in fact a direction, takes the steam out of the "Draft-Our-Daughters" movement. This then will relieve the minds and hearts of thousands upon thousands of Christian families with daughters; families which still believe the Bible's instructions for home, familiy, child-rearing, and child-education are still as valid as they ever were.

“Female leaders” or female DEI hires?

Dudes who claim they’re female?

I am not sure that their removal has to be explained. Hegseth is SecDef. I think that counts as an explanation. He’s the boss.

Would have thought the veteran Soviet Pravda staff was too old to continue to work. But then I read something in “The Hill” and I wonder.

The quintessential female affirmative action officer running as a Democrat on her record. Only problem is she had been relieved of her command several times
