A couple of years ago, I visited the Fort Larned Historical Site in south central Kansas. It is one of the least visited and best preserved sites in the national park system.

A ranch family purchased the site intact from the government shortly after the fort was closed and made very limited modifications. It stayed in the family for just under a century before it was donated to the National Park Service.

As a result, it is not only remarkably intact in the original, but the visitor center's film hasn't been updated since the mid 1970s. It was remarkably balanced to the extent that I felt it could serve as a model for other National Parks.

How about just posting American history, the good, the bad and the ugly, rather than just one way (PC) or the other (grandeur)?

And as for ugly, make it the whole ugly (Indian tribes attacking each other or white settlers, the POW camp for Confederate soldiers in Maryland, Antifa attacks on federal courthouses, etc.)?
