I will leave people with this: Remember back to 2009 when roles were reversed. Do not get cocky or arrogant. Focus listen and execute
Sadly the stories about D troubles are laughable in WI. Due to the inept state party led by Never Trump uber weasel Speaker Robin Vos and is obese inarticulate sidekick RPW Chair Brian Schimming, the Democrats are out fundraising, out organizing and generally kicking R ass statewide. These two mopes have a 4-30 statewide election record.
It is quite possible with these two running the party into the ground Wisconsin will be Illinois level blue within 5 years
The Democrats usually fund their campaigns after the money is spent, so cash-on-hand drastically underestimates their fundraising, especially early on. They shake down their pigeons however hard they need to.
But I don’t mean to pour cold water, either: This gap is rather extreme, and if it’s caused by a reduction of funds flowing from the federal government to all their supporting organizations, it may be much harder to pay for all their spending. And they would know that, so even though they don’t usually worry about going in the red, they may be smart enough to worry this time.
Looking more deeply, thanks to the NY Post:
The Republicans have simply been saving their money. The Republicans have spent $16 million, and the Democrats have spent $54 million, three and a half times as much. Still, the Republicans have outraised the Democrats $96 to $69.
Keep this spending gap in mind when you read polls.
To your point though....you could have given Harris another billion, and it would not have mattered. She and the team behind her had no real grasp of a campaign and how to sell a candidate.
Paying out $10-million to Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, James Taylor, and Katy Perry in swing states....didn’t matter.
Spending approximately $900,000 to display Harris ads on the exterior of the Las Vegas Sphere in the final week of the race...didn’t really change anything.
Making payments to influencer agencies and non-traditional media (allocated $2.5 million to three digital agencies for recruiting social media influencers)....didn’t really change anything.
The final two months? Harris sleep-walked her way through events...acting dazed at times, and continually uttering “What can be, unburdened by what has been”...made most people confused.
That is true, but I think Republicans have figured out how to make their money go farther and spend it wisely. When you have the white house and congress it’s easier to get your message out for free. I think due to demographics, Dems have to stick to old-fashioned mailers and other expensive tactics. But the spending gap will close as the mid-terms approach.
You cannot sell a candidate like that. She had no leadership attributes at all.
Don’t worry. The globalist billionaires will come through when it’s needed.
Sounds like someone needs a new job.
Their own base is mad as hell at them. But typically, they’re angry at some OTHER Democrat, not their own.
Why are they holding back now then?
>>>That money spigot from USAID for Democrats has been cut off.<<<
Practically ALL the ‘money spigots’ have been cut off. Hardly anything left but their base and a few loony billionaires............
>> When you have the white house and congress it’s easier to get your message out for free. <<
You would think. But I’ve been astonished at how absolutely non-existent their messaging on the BBB is. No-one seems to know that all that money that it will supposedly “add” to the deficit is from renewing existing tax cuts. Why the hell is it “adding to the deficit” when you decline to raise taxes by $4 trillion ($300b per year, by the way), but not adding to the deficit when you reauthorize $50 trillion in spending?
>> Practically ALL the ‘money spigots’ have been cut off. Hardly anything left but their base and a few loony billionaires............ <<
DON’T YOU BELIEVE IT!!!! The federal government is still cranking out $7 trillion, and every last penny is going to someone who will be mad as hell if they don’t get that penny.
They’re smart with their money and making sure they get what they want with it. Giving to the party isn’t really a big thing.
When the margin in the House reflects the money gap and the supposed 19% approval rate of the Democrats, that’s when these things will be significant. Otherwise, they’re just noise.
This is July 2025. No big elections coming up. The Soros-type organizations are spending their money on riots, er, “demonstrations.” The numbers in July, 2026 will be more interesting.
Big DemonRats a Lawering Up.
