Disability fraud is off the charts in California and workers comp insurance is costing companies big money.

California will approve 100% disability for a paper cut and the number of completely able bodied people riding the system on 100% disability is staggering.

A number of years ago, a popular California mini marathon fun run had a plurality of the top 20 runners on 100% disability.

A local guy on disability hurt himself recently falling out of a tree stand. Disability can be a raquet. A family member was on it for Asthma before Social Security kicked in. They smoke weed constantly. I guess SS cured their asthma.

Disability can be a raquet.

Raquet vs. Racquet — Which is Correct Spelling?.

"Raquet" is the incorrect spelling. The correct spelling is "Racquet," which refers to a bat used in certain sports.

I doubt that she could. She’ll probably file for bankruptcy.

Several years back a Seattle Fire Fighter had a serious accident on the job. He was called in to cover a shift at a different station than his normal company and the station had the old school fireman’s pole. He got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and fell through hole where the pole was located.

He sued the city, which of course drew out the legal proceeding for years. The city had hired PI’s to follow him and take pictures.

This backfired on the city in a spectacular manner. The presented their pictures of him walking around his farm and doing farm chores.

His defense was basically he wasn’t going to sit on his ass all day, and it didn’t depict the pain he was in while doing those things or the fact that he could only do them for brief period of time.

The jury awarded him $10 million

A friend of ours is legitimately disabled from a car wreck in which she was not at fault.

She has a big steel plate holding her back together.

She occasionally has fun losing the investigator following her in the car.

It’s good that they do that to catch cheaters. But it might as well be fun.

Over 50% of these kind of disability claims by the police and firefighters are totally bogus.

Well he didn’t deserve any of that. This is another reason why so-called” public servants are a problem.
