One of Donald Trump’s popular campaign promises was to work on releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files, so we could see how many people still in power were clients of the infamous child trafficker. In a new mystifying message, Trump not only supported his attorney general in not releasing the files; he bashed his own base.
Voters love Trump for defying the Deep State, for promising to drain the swamp, for vowing to track down criminals — especially child abusers. He was elected on promises of enforcing the law against criminals. Now Attorney General Pam Bondi is claiming that the Epstein files are just a myth, even though she had previously claimed they were sitting on her desk (apparently Epstein’s guilty plea to child prostitution and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell’s 20-year prison sentence for conspiring with him to abuse minors were accidents). The truly shocking part is that Trump is backing Bondi. We saw this sort of debacle play out with Richard Nixon. Trump should not make the same mistake.
Furious MAGA voters expected Trump to ask Bondi to resign, or at least to rebuke her and remind her of his campaign promise—one that many voters were enthused about—because child exploitation by elites is a topic that riles most Americans, especially since many of the victims and elites in this case are still alive. Instead of reading the room, figuratively speaking, and sitting Bondi down for a talk, Trump posted a message on Truth Social that contradicts his former comments and has already garnered backlash, with both X and Truth Social exploding as Trump voters decried the message.

“What investigation?”
Are you really going to lie to us and say there is no investigation?
Yup.
Some of my favorite quotes...
Oct. 22, 2024
Then-Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) to podcast host Theo Von: “Seriously, we need to release the Epstein list. That is an important thing.”
Jan. 30, 2025
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee): “So, will you work with me on this issue so we know who worked with Jeffrey Epstein in building these sex trafficking rings?
Kash Patel, FBI director nominee: “Absolutely senator.”
Feb. 27, 2025
Journalist Piers Morgan: “Do you think that by releasing information from these files we are likely to see criminal actions being taken?”
Alina Habba, counsel to the president: “Absolutely. I think it would be negligent for us not to. You have to hold individuals who are indeed rapists, accountable. We have to have them tried, in my opinion.”
March 1, 2025
Fox News host Mark Levin: “So once all that’s gathered you’re just going to put it out in the public, with the obvious necessary redactions … but for the perpetrators I assume that we’ll see those names, yes?
Bondi: “Well, certainly, nothing can be withheld on that. …”
March 11, 2025
Habba, to media personality Benny Johnson: “I personally have checked in. They are going through it. You have to be patient. Because when you are wanting to prosecute and actually do something with the information that you have, you have to make sure that you save the integrity of the investigation so that we can bring these people to justice, so that we can hold grand juries, so that we can do certain things.”
March 25, 2025
Habba, interim U.S. attorney for New Jersey, to Johnson: “You have to make sure also we bring valid cases … Those people that were crossing state lines and trafficking those girls or having sex with minors will be prosecuted.”
May 28, 2025
Patel to Fox News host Bret Baier: “I’m not going to withhold information from the American public, ever. … We are diligently working on that, and it takes time to go through years of investigations, years of political maneuvering, and years of cover-up.”
June 6, 2025
Rogan: “The narrative has always been that there’s video. Now, where’s the chain of custody? Is there evidence that there’s video? Is there evidence that it was moved around? Stored? Protected from people looking at it?”
Patel: “You’re going to get all that information. Like, that’s literally what we’re putting together. And we’re going to give you every single thing we have and can. And that’s the whole point. … Now we’re figuring out how to put it out.”
See post 102 for quotes from our new “usual suspects”.
“…. Trust must be restored.”
Agreed. As many have said, what makes the Epstein list matter, is that the names on it should be held accountable. If they cannot be, we need to understand why, beyond their privileged protected status. Similar to “lock her up”, in his first campaign/term, Americans elected PDJT to make a serious attempt at addressing our two tiered justice system.

It is succinct and on point.
both Bondi and Kash said all the right things to get into the MAGA orbit. Now they're trying to toe the party line. Both were never qualified to hold these office positions.
“I wouldn’t be surprise to learn that they faked Epstein’s death...”
I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did. Besides, there wouldn’t be any room on a beach for him. That’s Biden’s sand. And Epstein knew too much and was a loose end.

“”If they cannot be, we need to understand why, beyond their privileged protected status.””
Correct. A truthful explanation is all that is needed and contrary to the infamous movie quote by Jack Nicholson... we actually CAN handle the truth. We’re not naive children. We pretty much already know how vicious and corrupt the DS leftists are. And any ‘world-ending predictions’ surrounding the release of these files/evidence is just hyperbole, IMO.
In my world of reality-based predictions... anything (any loss of trust by Trump voters/supporters, any scandal, etc.) that helps the Democrats get back into power will be a ‘world-ending’ event, no hyperbole needed. They almost succeeded the last time they seized power (stolen election 2020). I actually think that the rest of the world’s future hinges on what happens to our republic. If we go down, so goes the rest of the planet... which is why the left is trying so hard to overcome us.
Kash had at least two lies during his confirmation hearings.
Once—he told Republican Senator Blackburn he would work with her to expose the Epstein trafficking ring.
Twice—he claimed he had never heard of a controversial radio talk show host—even though he had appeared on the show six times.
All the rocks will be turned over by Congress.
It will be Republicans that do it.
The President may want to save himself some time and dump both Bondi and Kash now.
“Did anyone get prosecuted when the CIA family Jewels horror show was finally revealed?”
There are a number of investigations going on by the DOJ but don’t hold your breath. And because of the threat limit there are some that will never be investigated publicly. Don’t look for anything to be solved soon, and probably forgotten. There are things in the first Kennedy assassination that have never been explained. And that was 4 generations ago. When names can pop up everything is slowed to the speed of smell. (And fades away often)

There is a client list inside Ghisilane Maxwell’s head.
She’s hasn’t released it nor even mentioned she might release it which is why she still lives.
I don’t think that she will be hanging herself on her bed post as that already been tried once with dubious effect.
But I’m sure the CIA and its buddies in the Mossad can come up with a way to make her go away if need be.
Or maybe Mossad has vouched for her silence and her release to Israel will be one of the last acts of Trump’s second term.
Sucker! Epstein has been a debacle for 20+ years. Now Republicans are tearing each other up over a dead man. Stupid suckers.
Agreed—but remember it was the administration that did this.
They pushed the issue.
Folks on this forum did not.

Frenchy Kerry playbook, page 1.
We were for releasing the lists before we found out there were no lists to release.
I did not claim there was any useful information on these matters.
It was the administration that made such claims.
Then use your common sense and act appropriately, sucker.
What?
I am a sucker for quoting administration officials?
You lost me there.
Well turns out Epstein and been a CIA asset since he worked on Iran Contra as he was one of the money men behind it. I also suspect reason Trump did a 180 on all this was he was informed he was messing with the CIA (Which should be disbanded) and I also suspect that shooter who was a 20ish yr old kid tapped into that network of current and former spooks assisting him. Maybe the CIA was sending a message..Ask JFK how that worked out...
I suspect there are a lot of horses missing their heads right now.
Could be, Could be I was not aware Epstein for the lack of a better term was a Repo man starting back in 1981. But he took it a step further and would setup all these “assets” he came by due to his line of work that could never be touched as he had connections.
