“ Trump needs a bigger chainsaw.”

He needs a better less duplicitous Republican Congress.

He doesn’t have the balls.
We just saw that with his big, bloated spending bill.
He’s totally onboard with buying the next election by selling out America’s future.
GOP erased any confusion they would lower spending and make possible the kind of economic growth we’re seeing now in Argentina.
Trump went for more of the same.
It sucks, yet there it is.

Except there was a big budget surplus in the US in June.
Mostly from tariffs, true, but its the first monthly
budget surplus since 2005.
Meanwhile inflation remains low, despite predictions of inflation from the Democrats when Trump announced his tariffs.

He has been lucky enough to have a Legislature that is backing him up all the way not like the backstabbers that Trump is dealing with.

If El Salvador and Bukele and Argentina and Milei can do it, we can.

We just have to implement their policies.

The link has nothing to do with current events. There are comments from about a year ago. However, there is one comment there which is old but has huge support. It’s worth translation.

Had they seen the fleet beforehand they could have radioed Tokyo and the war could have turned out different. Devine intervention?

Nope. Midway would have likely ended up a bit more of an even trade, but there's no way Japan could win. They didn't have the industry to replace losses, Fuel production (even if they captured sufficient oil deposits) to sustain the war all across the Pacific, nor sufficient training pipeline to replace losses of experienced pilots.

And the nuclear program would have still gone on and likely wiped out an entire island or two, for a very similar psychological effect.

Meh. That was mostly from June being the end of the quarter. Tariffs are less than 10% of FedGov's revenue for the month.

They thought Americans had no stomach for war and would have sued for peace—They didn’t know the rage of the people after Pearl Harbor.
