“Because its too ugly. My guess 1/2 of Congress had visited the island—men and women. Most Hollywood actors, big tycoons, and even religious leaders, maybe even some of the biggest names on the public stage.”

Right on the money. The simplest answer is usually the correct answer. I think Trump is on it too. He was inside those Hollywood Celebrity circles also. I’m sure he “had lunch” with Epstein a few times as being part of that circle of stars.

The Epstein list to die for?

Trump has bigger b*lls than that.

Rich people travel out of the country routinely.

The announcement may have been like yelling “ICE” in LA - those that run are likely lawbreakers.

The walk back may a way of letting others afraid to bolt to stay put until a grand jury indicts.

I regard the Epstein matter as something the Attorney General of the State of New York, Letitia James, should be the lead prosecutor for. Attorney General James can readily get the names of the females that got money from Epstein’s estate.

I’ with you. There’s something more afoot. Some Democrats are now pining for the release too.

This whole thing may just be theatre. Trump and Netanyahu admitted faking a fight before the Iran raid. I think Trump and Musk is also a fight for the media to give Musk cover to save his businesses.

The then young females involved probably came from Upper East & West Side families.

They may not wish their now quite comfortable lives be tarnished by public trials where they would have to admit being teenage whores. Bondi may simply be respecting their wishes.

The females got paid twice, once for the services provided and then money from Epstein’s estate. They got what they wanted, when they wanted it, twice.

That day when Bongino and Patel were together for an interview and said that Epstein definitely killed himself, did you watch Bongino carefully? The body language and the look on his face were like a hostage’s when declaring that he’s not being tortured by his captors.

That is SO true ! Anyone who listened to Bongino on radio should know he wants to be a straight-shooter at the FBI. I suspect he now realizes his credibility is highly compromised for whatever reason by this cover-up. He also spoke often about the Cocaine in the White House scandal and the cover-up about that, and the bombs or fake bombs placed outside the DNC and RNC headquarters on Jan 6. I was hopeful that with Patel and Bongino in charge we’d finally get some truth BUT I suspect he miscalculated the depth of the SWAMP.

Get back to work on what?
Apparently, Trump has Patel and Bongino on a short lease.

Several Reports Say Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino Threatening to Quit Over Epstein Issues and DOJ Response

July 11, 2025 | Sundance

Julie Kelly is personally very close to Dan Bongino and a significant advocate for him.  According to Julie Kelly and various other media sources, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino is threatening to quit over issues surrounding how the DOJ has handled the Jeffrey Epstein information.

Julie Kelly writes,

Sources confirm to me the blow up between Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi is very real. This has been brewing for four months and came to a head at the White House on Wednesday. He has not been in the office since. Most of the frustration at FBI relates to her handling of Epstein disclosures and disputes between FBI and Bondi about how to proceed. Bongino appears ready to resign imminently if Bondi remains in office.”

Axios, CNN and various other outlets have essentially confirmed the same story.

Mary Margaret Olohan from the Daily Wire writes,

Bongino in particular, one source said, is frustrated that the DOJ, at the start of this week, declared the Epstein case effectively closed and determined that the accused sex trafficker died by suicide while awaiting trial, with few further details shared. He wants more documents unsealed, the source added.”  Olohan also said, “Source close to Dan Bongino tells me it’s either him or Pam Bondi, and that he won’t stay at FBI if she stays at DOJ.

If this is all true is doesn’t bode well for Dan Bongino and he will likely be asked to depart from his position, if he has not already resigned.  This type of emotional response is considered a significant sign of instability amid executive level office holders.  The either/or threat never works at this level.

Apparently no one could see this coming.

That’s what they are hoping. But I think this thing really can become a modern “watergate” if they don’t come clean.

It makes me sick. I apply this rule to the whole thing: When politicians are doing things that make no sense, it means they are motivated by information they are not sharing.

i.e. this makes the whole Trump administration look really bad until they explain things like the missing minute, etc.

I’m a huge trump supporter, but I’m not a mindless robot. I save that for the leftists. I expect the politicians I support to be transparent.

This thing is looking like it is anything BUT transparent. That is a serious problem.

I agree. The problem is that if this is so big that it would bring the country down (and to an extend, all of western civilization), it means they can’t come clean. Which means heads will roll.

That is, this will be “damned if you do, damned if you don’t”.

And, frankly, that is the way it’s starting to look to me. This surpasses “party politics”, IMO. And that’s why they are having such a hard time not looking stupid.

Bondi is an attention hound—and it is that trait that will be her undoing—probably soon.

UPDATE: Kash Patel Not Resigning, Will Stay Unless President Says Otherwise — John Solomon Teases “Big Surprises” for MAGA Base in the Coming Weeks

by Jim Hᴏft | Jul. 11, 2025

Kash Patel is NOT resigning from his post at the FBI — unless the President himself removes him, according to new reports.

Earlier Friday, rumors exploded across social media, suggesting that FBI Director Kash Patel might join FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino in stepping down after growing friction with Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Dan Bongino reportedly took a day off following a heated confrontation with Bondi over her suppression of critical evidence tied to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

According to CNN and The Daily Wire, Bongino has told confidants he is strongly considering resigning if Bondi remains at the DOJ.

Later Friday, The Daily Wire reported that Patel himself was “frustrated” with Bondi’s DOJ stonewalling and might follow Bongino out the door if the stalemate continued.

However, investigative journalist John Solomon of Just the News set the record straight with an update on Friday night.

According to Solomon, Patel is overseeing one of the largest criminal conspiracy investigations in FBI history—a decade-long look into the coordinated effort to sabotage Donald Trump’s presidency, re-election, and comeback bid.

Solomon teased that within the next 10 days, bombshell revelations would be made public — possibly exposing how weaponized federal agencies colluded to rig the political landscape against Trump and deceive the American people.

John Solomon: There are reports out there tonight that Kash Patel is considering resigning alongside Dan Bongino. It is not true. My reporting makes very clear: Kash Patel is going nowhere unless the President tries to move him. He’s there for the long haul.

Why is that? Because the FBI has a major investigation that looks at the last 10 years of what happened to Donald Trump as one large conspiracy case. No one’s going to give that opportunity up.

Now, it is true — Dan Bongino is taking a few days to reconsider whether he wants to stay in the job. That’s his decision. He’s gone through these things before. There have been times when he’s been on radio, he got mad, took a couple of days off. I bet you he’ll come back when it’s all done.

But Kash Patel is going nowhere.

And I think next week — over the next 10 days — the base who’s been wondering, “Where’s all that accountability?” is going to get some big surprises. Over the next week, we’ll learn where the conspiracy began — a few weeks before Crossfire Hurricane was opened — and when it ended, all the way in 2024, when they were still trying to pursue Donald Trump to keep him from winning the presidency.

There’s a big case that’s been built by the Justice Department and the FBI.

It’s been masked by a lot of this infighting and drama and soap opera. The matter is — MAGA-base Americans are going to be happy when they see where this is all heading in the next few weeks.

Kash Patel is going nowhere. I hope Dan Bongino isn’t going anywhere either — but I do think he’s going to take some time over the weekend to think that through.

WATCH

TICK, TICK, TICK. 🙄

People who last in DC are very low key and sneaky.

Their enemies never see them coming.

Bongino is not a good fit in that environment.

Good post.

Now imagine your post with CIA/Mossad instead of CIA.

The stakes just got a whole lot higher....

When Watergate first happened it was a stupid burglary and a “distraction”.

In fact it took many months before it turned into the nightmare that doomed Nixon.

This has the potential to grind on indefinitely with peaks and valleys of attention...destroying morale within the administration...and leading to a defeat of Republican candidates in 2026.

“Mr. Congressman, what is your position of the Epstein files? Why is the administration refusing to release them?”

“I have made it very clear. I want all those files released immediately and we have sent subpoenas to the White House to obtain those records for Congress. If the White House will not release the records we will get them and we will release them. The public demands full disclosure and accountability in the Epstein matter. I know I am a Republican and should support the President but the stonewalling is unacceptable. I do not support it.”

Yep. Mossad and Shin Bet, MI6 and MI5. Then you have the Five Eyes alliance and their domestic counterparts, which, though not formally part of it, often cooperate closely behind the scenes.

Releasing the files could trigger massive diplomatic fallout, compromise shared operations, and carry serious global consequences.

That might explain Trump’s hesitation. He could be caught between a rock and a geopolitical hard place.

There are many problems this new reversal of facts presents.

One major problem is the perception that Bondi is just another Sessions/Barr.

We’re 1/8 into the last term of 45/47. And the Swamp scored another victory this week.

The real question—which nobody seems to be asking—is why President Trump made it an issue, why Bondi then went on a major PR campaign on this issue etc.

The Epstein files are very old news.

Almost every conspiracy theorist on the planet believes they were intelligence agency blackmail files—which includes a bunch of folks who the White House hired.

All those diplomatic and other issues have always been there.

Those are the first questions that need answers imho.

I’m guessing Trump raised the issue before his own appointees got their noses under the tent of U.S. intel.

Now with people like Ratcliffe and Tulsi advising him, he’s starting to grasp just how deep and wide this thing really runs—and probably thinking, “Uh oh.”
