We have high chances of rain, but sometimes chances are all they end up being. We’ve been fooled so many times. I wouldn’t mind some more, though. No floods, though. Enough already!
I have a friend who was visiting near Ruidoso, NM right before they had the floods come, and he said it was a right mess. So much mud because of the burn scar. The river there looked very much like the Guadalupe when it came roaring down the hills with all that dead timber in it.
I guess I’d better go. *sigh* Another early wake-up in the morning, and I didn’t even get much of a nap today. Just couldn’t settle down. See ya tomorrow!

Keeping all appendages crossed for luck that those rain chances become reality. It would be nice to get the water table up a bit after so much drought.
So much rain hitting an area recently burned was really bad. I saw a few videos of the river at Ruidoso and the wall of water and debris roaring down. Fortunate that your friends weren’t still there when that happened.
Hope you’ve fallen asleep quickly since you have an early day tomorrow.

If that isn’t love. It brings tears to my eyes, knowing what He did for me. I am kind of partial to the Bible Baptist church choir, of Tagum City, Philippines. My lovely wife grew up, only a few miles from there.

It’s the original version written and recorded by J.J. Cale in 1973.
