In remarks on Tuesday, US Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins addressed rumors that there would be “mass amnesty” for illegal aliens in the United States.
To this, she asserted that the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts would continue.
That’s not all. Rollins also announced a plan to ban the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from purchasing any farmland in the United States. This also applies to other foreign adversaries.
“Today we are…taking our American farmland back. American agriculture is not just about feeding our families, but about protecting our nation and standing up to foreign adversaries who are buying our farmland, stealing our research, and creating dangerous vulnerabilities in the very systems that sustain us,” she stated alongside Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Attorney General Pam Bondi.
The USDA’s National Farm Security Action Plan would ban Chinese nationals from buying American farmland and to “claw back what has already been purchased by China” and other adversaries.

“The era of open borders and unchecked foreign influence in American agriculture is over.”
Translation; Nobody new is coming in, and we will restrict foreign ownership of farmland.
Then the weak part where she essentially confirms the story.
“She continued, “The mass deportations continue, but in a strategic way,”
Translation; deportations will continue, but we will avoid Ag workers, just as reported, but without officially calling it amnesty.
More DC lies and damage control.
Exactly. She’s talking with Congress now in what she refers to as “fixing the immigration system” (any flashbacks from RINOs past?), but they not calling it what it is, which is amnesty, but instead of as “visas”.
Of course, giving “visas” to people who are supposed to be deported is unquestionably amnesty.
It’s not just that they should be deported.
They broke US federal laws on multiple occasions.
Teenagers in the US would be sitting in a federal holding tank for breaking laws that are not nearly as serious.
Do they have to allocute to the crime and pay any fine, do any time like a US citizen would?
Nope. Get to go home, plan another entry, try it all again.
It’s called anarcho-tyranny. The “government” tolerates absolute lawlessness on the part of foreigners and protected classes while holding citizens to the tiniest detail of the laws.
Who the hell supports a “government” like that?
I agree—except I don’t want them back.
You’re guilty of breaking and entering (and staying and stealing) by being here illegally—and you don’t get to come back.
Until there is tomorrow.
Orwell getting a lot of attribution on FR lately.
I think this is called doublespeak.
Dipsh*t Bush didn’t call his amnesty plans amnesty either. If Trump screws this up, the GOP will be the minority party for many years to come...
I can’t sell my land to the highest bidder?
You left off two parts of what she said.
She said,
At this point, you can call it lies, but based these quotes, and Trump's track record of holding to his promises, that's just your opinion, and not likely to happen.
Well NO DUH..all they were saying from the start that the criminal aliens are FIRST PRIORITY as it should be..after every single criminal alien’s illegal ass is deported, then you can grab the rest of em
As you point out, from the beginning of Trump's mass deportations, Trump has been prioritizing who gets deported first or next. Yet some how when Trump says that farm workers are not the next priority, a few amongst us go haywire.
I'm all for vigilance. But some here are over the top on this.
We even had "labor camps" with schools, laundry facilities, rec-rooms etc. for their families.
It was called the Bracero program.
I'm all for mass deportations.
I'm also for allowing what's now considered "illegals" to continue working here legally.
If you want one of those jobs, go apply.
I have actually done some farm labor, including stoop labor, in my youth.
The vast majority of the illegal immigrants within the US are NOT employed in agricultural or agri-business pursuits. They are working in suburban and urban landscaping projects, having zip to do with production of food and fiber, or simply living off Federal and state largesse like free rent and food assistance, and enjoying a all-expense paid vacation in the US.
Those who ARE actually employed in agriculture or agri-business enterprises could be admitted on a provisional work visa, but it is probably a good idea to go home first and then apply, rather than to expect a visa to be issued in the field if discovered by an ICE sweep.
BTW, check out "The Gang of Eight" from 2004. One of the "eight" was Marco Rubio.
Right now I want every single illegal brought here under Biden to be deported..that to me is my #1 priority..after that we can go back to the previous ones and start deporting them. Believe me we have PLENTY to deport under Biden it will take years to deport all the schmucks that biden brought here, if we can get rid of them alone Id be a happy camper
I was very concerned about Marco Rubio, but he has been nothing but solid so far.
For what Trump has been through financially and physically and almost getting his life taken, I will never throw him under the bus. He’s one man. He’s a senior. He didn’t have to go through any of this. He’s the best president we’ve ever had in our modern era. And he always tries to do the best thing. Politics is ugly and not perfect. He’s dealing with shit on the home front and abroad and he’s not even in the same universe as Biden and all those leftist commie pukes behind Biden. I thank goodness everyday that he’s president. Every frickin’ day. I love you, President Trump. I’m forever grateful for what you have sacrificed.
Give them temporary work permits.
