I watched several different sources covering the extended activities in Mc Arther Park.
There were lots of federal vehicles including perhaps 8 vans, an armored car and a troop of LA mounted police.
There was endless video both on the ground and from news helicopters. There was extensive video of streets being block and traffic rerouted. There was extensive video of the Mayor being surrounded by the press.
There was no video of either arrests or of potential arrests. From what I saw the effort did not produce the desired arrest results. The reason for all the effort remains secret

Actually, LA cops were present. There was even a mounted police effort with 10 or 12 horse mounted police.
