Are the girls here:

part of the 23 mentioned by MJTruthUltra in your post?
No, they do this because they are idiots and/or don't know any better.
Was/were there no Flash flood warnings?
Are there no safety protocols for these summer camps?
You know like the evacuation drawings in most commercial building?
Something like "Flash Flood warning --- RUN DON"T WALK TO HIGHER GROUND"?
Yes, and I would like to do so, too. ✝️🙏🏻😞
Just heartbreaking.
Yes. May be there more miraculous savings, just as with the little girl on the raft, whose amazing story has been mentioned in this thread previously.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Horrific damage to people and structures. I hope they find many survivors but it is grim. Flash floods are awful.
Anecdotally, in one of the young kids cabin, one of the female counselors woke from being wet and found herself up to her chin in water. She helped the kids out a window where they clung to a clothesline. She was swept away...but found downstream a few miles okay.
Thank you, Allegra.
Thank you, Menes.
You are so very welcome 🙂🙏🏻✝️
Because unlike what the main stream media practices, I was trained to believe that accuracy matters.
In this case, they are either right or they are wrong.
"The lieutenant governor, who was acting as governor while Abbott was on vacation, said "

In any event, Abbot has returned and is getting camera time today.
You misspelled DOING HIS JOB. Sheesh.
Give it a break Negative Nel. Again...now, is NOT the time.
Have a good rest of your day.

Wow. Thanks for posting.
For those who haven’t seen it-—
I watched that through several times, the second time counting one thousand one etc with the realization that each second equals 1:40, and then watched it through again paying close attention to the first three seconds (five minutes)——it went from normal looking to the untrained observer to over 90% of as bad as it was going to get on the ground in well under five minutes.
After the first five minutes, if you had awareness you would be fine, unless you were up in a tree. Then you would be at the mercy of whatever happened to the tree.

These are the people in the video who backed up.

Thanks. As someone who grew up on the Pacific coast, that is a lot less scarry than the aerial view at 100Xs speed.
Just make sure that you can get to higher ground sufficiently quickly and you’ll be fine if you know what you are doing and don’t do something stupid.
Like sleep in a floodplain without adequate precaution.
Meteorologist Nick Stewart breaks down the tragic, historic flooding in South Texas including Kerr County which led to a 20-foot rise on rivers in just 90 minutes and multiple fatalities. How did the forecast pan out? What was the timeline of events? What led to this historic event?

Newsmax just showed a news video (narrated by Wm. Shatner) from 1987 where the Guadalupe River flooded and there were 10 deaths. Little girls, too, IIRC.
