As of when I'm posting this item, this is the latest roll call vote. It is from yesterday at 10:57 am. This is a procedural vote.

All 212 ayes are Republicans; all 211 nays are Democrats; 8 of the 9 abstains are Republicans (Burlison, Dunn of FL, Fitzgerald, Garbarino, Hern of OK, Meuser, Miller of OH and Van Drew); 1 of the abstains is Democrat (Latimer).

At this time, 2 am, the House is voting on passage. At this time, BBB is down ten votes, with 8 abstains. Speaker Johnson needs to flip some of the ten from nay to aye and/or get some of the abstains to vote aye.

Biggest tax increase vs. biggest tax cut. For Republicans this should be a no brainer

"For Republicans this should be a no brainer"

Who said Republican Congress critters have brains?

Republicans could not stick together even if they fell into a vat of crazy glue.

I was listening to Red Ey Radio, and the vacation host interviewed a Rep from Tennessee. It sounded like they’re all going home for the holiday.

Maybe that will change, but it will be a surprise.

If I were Trump, I’d simply pull the bill.

No bill.

It wouldn't surprise me if they do. We'll see what happens tonight. Just posted on X

"Speaker Johnson aims to wrap up the rule vote on the Big Beautiful Bill by 3:30am here in DC, per Punchbowl

And he aims for final passage by 6:30am, as Hakeem Jeffries will most likely come speak on the floor to waste more time.

We’re moving here."

Of course, it would help if there wasn't an empty chamber right now!

I hope Trump didn’t buy them. I’d rather he threaten them.

How dare they take on Daddy? 😀

We got past the procedural vote. Republicans 219 yea, 1 nay. Now comes the vote on the actual bill after whatever speeches and attempted amendments are discussed.

Just passed the rule.
219-213.
Now debate starts.
Then final passage.
Then in for Trump to sign.

Jerks. Why the drama? Greedy morons. Can’t they ger on board?

It was easier to get NATO to pony up 5%.

Primary the holdouts. Trump needs to sign it today.

It’s not that simple. There’s some really bad stuff in there that the holdouts might have some success in getting out. That’s happened in the last week for some provisions.

But there’s nothing like a holiday to bring the critters together for final votes.

This wasn’t the hill to die on over silly SNAP crap. They’ve had years doing nothing about things before.

Donors called them. I hope no payoffs.
