They admire Hitler. They name stores and streets after him. Just because he killed millions of Jews. As the world grows ever darker, the more cultures like this become more popular among the tolerant Left.
I consider tolerance of intolerance to be intolerant. Therefore I would have written “the intolerant Left”.

Agreed. And given Iran’s influence in that region, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Aryan supremacy stuff was part of it too. The Persians have reason to claim historical ties to the ancient Aryans (hence renaming their country to Iran a few years after the Nazis in Germany started talking about Aryan supremacy). Good point. Persia did in fact change its name to Iran in 1935 to closer identify with Hitler and the Nazis. From what I have read, there was an Aryan language, but no such thing as an Aryan “race”, like the Nazis claimed. But whatever the case, Iran claims they are descended from these.
“Good point. Persia did in fact change its name to Iran in 1935 to closer identify with Hitler and the Nazis.”
Flat out lie posted by Russia propagandists.
“That’s possible I suppose, but it is a popular belief I’ve heard several times. “
Stop listening to Russian propaganda.
They changed there name after a new ruler came to power. He changed it from the western Presia name to Iran which went back over a thousand years in their history.
Yes, it does. :-)
I don’t know why Russia would spread negative propaganda about Iran, being allies with them.
