The Trump administration could prosecute CNN for its recent promotion of an app that allows phone users to learn if U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is active in their area, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Tuesday.
CNN recently did a segment promoting the ICEBlock app, which would alert anyone using the app that ICE is reportedly active near the user.
“We’re working with the Department of Justice to see if we can prosecute them for that because what they’re doing is actively encouraging people to avoid law enforcement activities, operations,” Noem said in a video posted to X.
“And we’re going to actually go after them and prosecute them with the partnership of Pam, if we can, because what they’re doing, we believe, is illegal,” Noem said, referring to Attorney General Pam Bondi.
As a reporter was asking the question about prosecuting CNN, President Donald Trump chimed in, “It’s OK with me.”

Bullcrap. If each American citizen got a dime for every time someone in the Trump administration stated that they’re going to arrest or prosecute those who are willfully assisting illegals, we’d all have hefty savings accounts. Stop talking and start doing it...

I wish I had a quarter for every time an elitist, globalist, teacher, union boss, banker, judge, lawyer, mayor, congressmen, senator, governor, and their friends were NOT prosecuted in the two tier system they've set up nicely for themselves.
I'd be rich and in jail for some made up bs story cause you're not us reason.
I'm so over it. Over never seeing anyone perp walked. Always with the limo to the prison.
And I will never forget seeing those lawyers working overtime for illegal citizens and yet they couldn't find the guts to take on a poor person who may more likely be innocent but they get the washed up attorney for the indigent who has 500 cases that he or she definitely will throw their client under the bus with the lie forever "If you don't take this plea deal (my best friend the da wants) you will get 25 years for smoking weed (other no victim crime) or plea deal of 5years and probation 5years because he will win.
If you don't think that this is happening, go to any county courthouse and watch.

CNN’s lawyers will claim freedom of the press and that it was just reporting on the app. Next.

You should know that CNN is a “cable” news network, no license required

Prosecuting CNN for its promotion of the ICEBlock app is all right for me.
