Tree ducks nest in our trees! They must’ve recently laid eggs, too ... as I saw a few tiny babies playing in the little creek that flows out back.
And...we have a new baby fawn. Mama camped out near the tree where the tree ducks nest, for a couple of weeks, then ... one morning we saw the newborn fawn!
The spots are so adorable. He’s getting more brave, by the day ... actually runs ahead of mama, now. Then, stops....and, waits for her to catch up. Won’t be long until he’s taking off, on his own. 😢
