Barrett's majority opinion came after Trump privately griped about her

For months, President Donald Trump has griped in private about some of the Supreme Court justices he appointed during his first term, believing they were not sufficiently standing behind his agenda.

But on Friday, all of his appointees — including Justice Amy Coney Barrett, the one who’s earned his particular ire — ruled in his favor in a case challenging his executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, with Barrett writing the majority opinion.

The ruling was a decisive win for a president who has long railed against unelected judges blocking some of his executive actions. The decision limits lower courts’ ability to issue nationwide injunctions, which have stymied some of the president’s executive actions.

It could help improve the president’s view of Barrett in particular.

In private, some of Trump’s allies have told him that Barrett is “weak” and that her rulings have not been in line with how she presented herself in an interview before he nominated her to the bench in 2020, according to sources.

believing they were not sufficiently standing behind his agenda.

They shouldn't be standing behind ANYBODY'S agenda. They should be standing FOR the Constitution and the laws made in support of it.

You do what you must. Chuck Schumer outright threatens them. Not that CNN would ever report that.

Contrast how Barret rules with how the liberal judges do.

The liberal judges NEVER veer from what the democratic party want from them. Has CNN ever noticed or reported on that?

Love our amazing Pres Trump, but dear sir, that is NOT what Supreme Court Justices are nominated to do. The Constitution should be their focus (not political activism for feel-good ideas, ladies!!!), not the personal preferences and agenda items of whoever is in office at the moment, or whoever nominated them.

You've been better than I could have ever imagined back in 2016, but our focus has to be on the next 200 years of our history, not the next 3 years of your legendary legacy.

(And PLEASE dear Lord let us find more similar leaders, preferably not from the same family tree, to help us for the next 2 centuries!!)

How ironic- the SCOTUS decision on obamacare came after weeks of the criminal liberal media claiming the legitimacy of the court would be decided solely on a positive ruling in favor of obamacare...and what did Roberts do???

It was a 6-3 slam dunk decision, with the only ones sticking to ideology uber alles were the usual minority females (who only use emotions and the politics of the moment to guide their reasonings).

Even if ACB had not "caved", it was still a 5-4 victory for the Constitutional balance of powers. CNN is simply garbage.

Why did he gripe about her? She’s exactly what was expected, or maybe a tiny bit to the right.

If this were true in any way, shape or form, CNN would have reported on it months ago as part of their “Trump threatens federal Judges” schtick.

It could help improve the president’s view of Barrett in particular.

That shouldn’t be a factor in decisions at all.

This article is nonsense. What everyone here SHOULD be doing is reading this opinion to see how Barrett absolutely RIPS Justice Jackson by name several times in the opinion. I know lawyers who are amazed at the language Barrett used.

So CNN thinks she made her decision and wrote the majority argument in under a week?
