“Well, why not simply deport them for being illegal aliens?
The House needs to be passing a bill to outlaw national injunctions from DISTRICT judges.”

Many here just love national injunctions by district court judges when they negate things like gun control laws (remember “Saint Benitez”?).

All this is going to do is cause certain states to stop enforcing DWI laws against anyone not obviously a legal American citizen.

There’s no shortcut around procedural due process.

the assumption you have there is that only the courts provide procedural due process.

Last I looked, Biden was exporting more when he left office.

So much noise in the news cycle!

Criminal constitutional procedural due process does not apply to deportations. If you think so, you have been duped by the left who are trying to normalize their false statements. The due process that they are entitled to is codified in the US Code Title 8.

Constitutional due process applies to every legal action. That’s “procedural due process,” the exact kind Justice Thomas supports. “Substantive due process” is what most people here gripe about.

The basic foundation of all law since the Magna Carta has and continues to be the right to be informed of the charges against and provided with an opportunity to meaningfully respond to those charges.

Our Constitution treats everyone within the United States, except foreign military and ambassadors, with the same legal rights; even for something as mundane as a traffic infraction.

The bill by libs would be if an illegal drives drunk AND injures any liberal politician and/or family, then deport them.

Many Illegals STAGE auto injuries.

Biden had open borders, so most have returned...

Is not being here illegally here enough, drunk driving or not. What’s next. a bunch of individual laws that say an illegal can be deported if they also do (a), and another says if they do (b), and another (c), and another (d)...............(x), (y) (z). If the law says they can be deported if they are here illegally, period, then nothing else is needed.

Which they receive during their deportation hearing process. That’s all they are due: a hearing in immigration court, and chance for an appeal to the Appellate Immigration Court. Constitutionally, Congress has jurisdiction over Immigration per Article I and the above procedural due process is codified in 8 USC, passed by Congress and signed by a President. This process is ADMINISTRATIVE, not criminal. In any of these BS TRO’s on this issue, have you ever seen a Fed District Court Judge cite to the Immigration Act? Nope. Why? They do not want you to see how they are subverting the Supreme Law of the Land.

This bill will probably end up languishing in the same No Man’s Land as the No Rogue Rulings Act that passed on April 9th, went to the Senate, and was never heard from again. HR 1526.

It's hard to get excited about this sort of thing anymore.
