It was a hallway conversation. She was stepping out a meeting one day, and someone passed her and casually said, "Hey, Neera, I hear you're in charge of the autopen now." Well, if the dementia patient signed an order to sign his name with the autopen, that document must exist. Yet, it appears that it does not. Therefore, someone orally told this person to use the autopen without leaving a paper trail. That should be enough for these autopened signatures to be of no legal affet.
