I would say the probability of Trump accepting a Nobel peace prize if offered to him is approaching 100%.
Luckily, Trump doesnt care about awards from the world. Thats not what he’s doing this for, thank God.

Fine. but he has to GO THERE and show up at the ceremony. Then he rants, raves, soliloquizes, puts the medal in a trash can front of everybody and leaves to “YMCA” played by Stephen Miller wearing a trench coat and holding a cheap boombox.
Frankly I do believe Pres Trump could give a tinkers damn of those who received the NPP.

This is a moment in time to laud heroes and peacemakers, those who have survived the most egregious slings and arrows ever
to lead our country &working for peace throughout.
There are very few men or women who are elected to office in govt in hopes for better times and improving society and gosh darn it making things safe in restoring order.
Pres Trump is is one of those very very few men and a true leader.

2. He will never get said prize at least while in office and alive. It would be seen as “legitimizing” him by the left and no one is further to the left than the swedes.
3. Of course he wants it. You can see it in his eyes. I love him but he has an almost childlike need to be loved by everyone who hates him.
All good reasons to reject any Nobel Prize, but I can assure you, if Trump wins one he will graciously accept it. President Trump grew up in an era that bestowed tremendous respect and admiration on all Nobel winners. He knows things have changed, but that particular award will always have an aura of spectacular greatness attached to it

Yeah I’m afraid you’re right. I am a supporter but his ego is a weakness. He should turn it down if offered, that would show way more class for two reasons. First is because it is a meaningless garbage award as discussed here. Second is because accepting things (gifts, honors) can subtly change your psychological self-image and in effect makes you manipulated. He would show more strength of character by turning down this award if offered during his term.
