President Trump said he left the NATO summit feeling differently about the alliance than when he arrived, after countries showed their appreciation for the U.S.
“I came here because it was something I’m supposed to be doing, but I left here a little bit different,” Mr. Trump said at his post-NATO press conference Wednesday.
He said he watched other world leaders at the summit talk about the love and passion they have for their countries.
“I’ve never seen quite anything like it,” he said. “They want to protect their country, and they need the United States, and without the United States, it’s not going to be the same.”
Mr. Trump has been a vocal critic of NATO in the past, continuously accusing its members of failing to pull their own weight on defense spending, leaving the U.S. to carry the burden for mutual defense — largely against Russia.

Well Mr. President. Seems the NATO leaders approve of you... today. I’d be cautious about any conclusions you may draw for these shallow socialists.

NATO is decades past it’s expiration date. European taxpayers can pay for their defense from now on.

It seems there is increased interest in NATO countries raising their defense budgets.(Except Spain), for which NATO Chief Mark Rutte gave credit to Trump last night. That has to be gratifying to Trump.

Yup. The deep state broke Trumps cherry for intervening in other countries. Next stop, the Ukraine.

They face no threats except mass immigration. They are not a defensive alliance. They are offensive. Serbia, Libya, and Ukraine prove that.

I know. They know they that fish hooked. That’s why Pence and Graham and the NATO birds are all smiles. They know the war is back on.

Is this the run up to the jump from "In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving." to 'Yer in good hands with deep State'?
