President Donald Trump revealed Friday that a peace treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda has been secured, stating that it was “a Great Day for the World.”

In a post on Truth Social, Trump revealed he and Secretary of State Marco Rubio had worked to arrange a “wonderful Treaty” between the two countries. Trump added that representatives from both countries will be in Washington, DC, on Monday “to sign documents.”

“I am very happy to report that I have arranged, along with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a wonderful Treaty between the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Republic of Rwanda, in their war, which was known for violent bloodshed and death, more so even that most other Wars, and has gone on for decades,” Trump wrote, adding that it was a “Great Day for Africa” and the world.

“””Joy Reid does have some of that rustic native look which I remember from the Johnny Weismuller movies. “”

I’ve seen her on the evolution chart. Third from the left.

Yes - Bush went over there and was given a hero’s welcome by the people near the end of his term. Bush was also given hero’s welcomes in places like Romania.

However, right after Obama took office and went on a foreign tour, I recall Katie Couric reporting to a scene of him being applauded: “And Obama was applauded - something that hasn’t happened for an American President overseas in many years.” Just blatant, false reporting.

I remember a short video of a Rwandan river filled with floating dead bodies bank to bank with the water a sickening blood red.
This was during the clinton administration.

Looked like hell

This peace deal that Trump and Rubio negotiated with Rwanda and Congo ends a sad war that has been on for years and years. Millions of people in each of these countries have been killed, starved to death, or displaced.

This is a big deal, but the leftist press has barely mentioned it. Trump has been busy with tariffs, Iran, the budget, and other duties, but he found a way to make this peace.
