The other nations are not of consequence, only those individuals in them that attach themselves to the root, Israel, through faith in the Messiah, the Holy One of Israel. It is a requirement to love the Jewish people. It is the Second Greatest Commandment from Leviticus and repeated in the books of the New Testament.

The Old Testament is an indispensable part of Sacred Scripture. Its books are divinely inspired and retain a permanent value, for the Old Covenant has never been revoked.

Iran has had the capability of producing an uranium atomic bomb for years and may have years ago. However, so long as they do not acknowledge having an atomic weapon the USA (Obama Binden) gave them pallets of cash, removed sanction that had crippled Iran economically and prevented Israel from taking out their nuclear program years ago.

I suspect they have the bomb but it is doubtful they have a delivery systems for it after Israel has effectively targeted such since day one.

Why did some Jews reject Christ?

Because they wanted an earthly kingdom. And that required obedience to the Law. Something which they never were, or are, or will be able to fulfill to perfection.

Peter said as much at the Council of Jerusalem.

Cephas, the Apostle to the Jews, already gave the reason for the rejection of Yeshua as Messiah by Jews when wrote this. There will yet be an earthly kingdom for Israel, as there will yet be a new heaven and a new earth. It is not for us to know when yet.

Obedience to the moral laws is certainly required, otherwise faith is in vain. A dispensation was granted to the Gentiles who believe in Yeshua as Messiah at the Council of Jerusalem, but not entirely.

Matthew 5:17-19

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Most Gentiles continue to reject a Jewish Messiah in favor of other religions, or out of blindness, envy, or hatred, or earthly pleasures.

This is where we still are in God's timeline, by faith working and hoping:
