More importantly - Patrick Reed scored an albatross on the 621-yard fourth hole at the US Open
So, who’s left?
Looks like the mullah’s family is fleeing somewhere.
I wouldn’t be surprised is a coup occurs.
Second shot into the hole on par 5 is most exciting shot and very rare shot in golf. Patrick Reed is only the 4th player to accomplish this feat in US open history.
The first albatross in Master’s was made by Gene Sarazen in 1935. His shot on the par-5 15th hole is known as the “shot heard ’round the world.” Sarazen’s albatross helped him win the tournament, and it is still remembered as one of the greatest shots in Masters history.
autocorrect should have changed the first word to "Jerusalem"
🥳
Still a handful of the top dogs. I’m betting they’re really nervous about now.
Email Qaani...?
OK.
Family’s prolly headed to California.
Prayers up for “hardspunned” in his time for grief.
“Albatross” is a “triple eagle”.
Is there a name for a “quadruple eagle”?
Netanyahu acted fast and decisively against his country’s main foreign enemy. Tomorrow, our country faces hundreds of “demonstrations” that could be the precursor for an insurrection. Trump should act as decisively against the enemy within as Netanyahu against the enemy without.
Four below par is a condor (notice that each bird reference grows, from birdie to eagle to albatross to condor)
Sorry to correct you Jim, but, For those unfamiliar with golf, an albatross is a score of three under par on a single hole. It is also known as a double eagle. To put that in simpler terms, it means that a golfer has hit the ball into the hole in two shots on a par-5 hole. This is an incredibly rare feat, and it has only been accomplished a few times at the Masters.
Boo Hoo.
On a par-5 hole, hit the ball into the hole in
four shots = birdie
three shots = eagle
two shots = albatross or double eagle
one shot = condor
OK. Why not just stick to “double eagle” for three under par and four under par would be albatross. I mean “condor”? Whatever.
