What Would Mexico Do with Protesting Illegals? (Deport them on the spot.)
City Journal ^ | April 10, 2006 | Heather Mac Donald

If Mexico wants to dictate our immigration policy to us, let’s follow their example to the letter. That example is particularly relevant on this further day of protests demanding amnesty for illegals. Among the demonstrators in at least 60 cities nationwide will undoubtedly be thousands of border lawbreakers. What would Mexico do? The answer is easy: deport them on the spot. In 2002, a dozen American college students, in Mexico legally, participated peacefully in an environmental protest against a planned airport outside of Mexico City. They swiftly found themselves deported as law-breakers for interfering in Mexico’s internal affairs.

Article 33 of the Mexican Constitution forbids ANY foreign participation in their domestic politics. This includes actually peaceful protests. They have enforced that recently. The story includes 20 American college kids deported in 2006. There may be other cases. We have no need to listen to the scolding lectures from Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. If an American even silently protests there, they are departed, never mind what they would do if Americans were burning cars, looting stores, throwing large stones at cops, and soldiers, and breaking into Federal buildings.

Or hang their decapitated bodies from highway overpasses, more likely.

I remember that in the ‘80’s more or less a bunch of students protested in Mexico and they just sent in the Federales with automatic weapons and there were no more protests after a bunch of people died.

This article is accurate and true. Hard to believe but YES I know friends from the USA which were given 24 hours to leave Mexico if they are caught in a march, parade or making public dissent.. Heaven forbid what they would do for burning their flag.

Penalties for Illegally Entering Mexico

Mexico Immigration Laws Penalties. We are all well aware of the various laws and penalties involving illegally crossing the border from Mexico into the United States; but what are the laws and penalties involved with illegally crossing the border from the United States into Mexico?

Simply put, illegal immigration is a felony under Mexican law. In fact, Article 123 of the General Law of Population mandates that “a penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five hundred thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.”

Mexican Immigration Enforcement

Other penalties regarding illegal immigration per the General Law of Population are as follows:

*Article 125 – Foreigners who have legal issues involving immigration will be at risk of deportation from Mexico rather than being sentenced to prison.

*Article 126 – Any foreigner who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported from Mexico.

There are also penalties that will be imposed on Mexican nationals who provide assistance to illegal aliens in terms of illegally entering the country. These penalties will officially cause them to be considered criminals under the law and are as follows, per the General Law of Population:

*Article 127 – A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the intention of helping them live in the country will face a total of up to five years in prison.

*Article 132 – Fines will be imposed on any and all airline and shipping companies who bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico.

Mexico Immigration Requirements

Aside from the above mentioned penalties, there are also multiple others that apply to other kinds of situations, such as those foreigners who attempt to enter Mexico while possessing fake paperwork:

*Article 116 – Any foreigner in possession of fake immigration paperwork will be at risk of being either fined or imprisoned.

*Article 116 – Any foreigner who signs government documents “with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses” will be at risk of being either fined or imprisoned.

In the event that a foreigner is found to be failing to obey rules imposed by the country:

*Article 117 – Deportation orders that are not obeyed are subject to a foreigner being punished.

*Article 118 – A foreigner who has been deported yet attempts to re-enter the county without prior authorization faces a prison sentence of up to 10 years.

*Mexico Immigration Laws Penalties. Articles 119, 120, 121 – Any foreigner who is found to be in violation of the terms of their visa can be sentenced to a total of up to six years in prison. Additionally, foreigners who misinterpret the terms of their visa can also be imprisoned as well.

Mexican law, under Article 33 of its Constitution, prohibits foreigners from engaging in political activities such as protests, deeming them as interference in national affairs, and participation can result in detention and deportation. The U.S. Embassy advises citizens to avoid such activities due to these legal consequences.
