Sweet Kale salad with ranch dressing
(Good God, im eating salad … what the hell is happening to me…)
Washed down with Johnny Walker Red…
I see the South Lawn Party starts at 7pm EDT.
Glad I didn’t miss it.
Been entertaining family who are coming to town for hubby’s Family Reunion that begins tomorrow through Sunday.

Your menu sounds DELISH, Hale!!
We’re taking a break from beef, tonight.....chicken with cream cheese, four Italian cheeses, spinach, kalamata olives, grape tomatoes....and, plenty of garlic.
Served with sauteed carrots/brocolli/green beans...with MORE garlic :-)
And...maybe a glass of Brunello.

Brunello is a nice red wine. Always good to wash down a nice dinner with a nice red wine.
The salad was a concession to keep wifey off my back LOL!!!!
It’s one of our fave wines.
Very versatile....pairs nicely with Italian, chicken, even steaks!

Vidalia onion is a gift from God…
I’ll put an entire huge onion under the broiler, hollow out the center, filled with sweet salted butter, garlic chunks, and crumbled bacon. Its amazing.
Basically a meal in itself.
The steak was ribeye, thick cut, WITH the fat left on. Medium well, a little red left in the center.
Potatoes were sliced thin, broiled on both dides with butter salt and pepper.
And the salad was chopped kale, cucumber, sesame and raisin with buttermilk ranch.
Wifey forced me into the salad… hahah!!!!
STOP ... it sounds TOO delicious.
POTUS said he reduced border crossings by 99.999%....one guy got in...for a medical emergency...LOLOL.
