probably right, but, the rumor is, his body parts were chopped up before they were buried there. Now we'll never know. That stadium was torn down in 2010 and put under 13 feet of concrete. Did they have that technology back then ?

I believe Hoffa was set-up by his "step-son" Chuckie O'Brien and the answers lie with him.. O'Brien died in 2021 of an apparent heart attack.

We kept an office for Jimmy Hoffa for when he came back. When Hoffa got whacked, I put a bumper sticker on my car that said "Her Fitz, Where's Jimmy?" It sure does. I stopped watching that show years ago because every opening scene was the same - dead body. I love Chicago Fire but that’s the same thing - always starts with a call to a fire...

For this story, I thought the homeowner may have “done someone in”, put the body in the pool and would “suddenly” discover it when he got the pool ready the next season.. Sounds like Alfred Hitchcock, doesn’t it?

I don’t know about him, but if I had a pool and found a body in it, I’d have a hard time ever swimming in it again, no matter how sanitized or repainted.
