As Americans wait for Congress, the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the FBI to advance the America-first agenda mandated by voters on November 5, former interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin, now heading to the DOJ as “weaponization czar,” says that accountability will come. But Republicans are undermining the agenda.
“The Republican Party is probably more problematic in certain ways than the Democratic Party,” Martin opined in an interview with Tucker Carlson. It’s Trump’s party, but the old guard is pushing back, he added.
The conflict between Establishment Republicans in Congress and the president was on full display when North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis successfully tanked Martin’s nomination as permanent U.S. attorney for D.C. this month. Tillis supposedly pulled his support due to Martin’s background of defending peaceful January 6 protesters. However, Martin speculates the true reason was his desire to prosecute criminals within the government. Said Tillis:
He built a compelling case on some of the 15 [or] 12 prosecutions that were probably heat-of-the-moment bad decisions. Where we probably have a difference [of opinion] is I think anybody that breached the perimeter [of the Capitol] should have been in prison for some period of time.
Martin revealed that Tillis had bought in completely to the hoax that January 6 was a violent insurrection. The Tarheel State senator, he said, was not “paying close attention to what happened.” Therefore, he concluded, Tillis, like millions of Americans, has fallen prey to an “information war.”

The DOJ’s approach to accountability, according to Martin, will be threefold:
“Naming and shaming” those who abused power;
Gathering evidence to prosecute and imprison them; and
Healing those harmed through presidential pardons.
While the American people’s yearning for justice and accountability must be satisfied, Martin and Bongino are asking for patience as they undertake perhaps some of the most complex and sinister conspiracies and conspirators to exist.
Name them, shame them and LOCK THEM UP FOR MANY YEARS !
I’ll believe it when I see it. Accountability is not something that occurs in government, especially not in DC.
The criminal web they have weaved is enormous and for that purpose. Un raveling will take time. I am of the belief that if RICO can be used it would haul their a##es to jail and they will sit and wait until we are good and ready to try them, much like J6. Empty gitmo and make way for these criminals. We need to set a deterrent by sentencing these parasites otherwise we will relive it again
Or, Tillis is just rancid with corruption.
That’s great,but you have about 3 and a half years,not counting holiday and vacations.
Good luck
