Jeanine Pirro announces first criminal sentences as DC prosecutor

Former Fox News host Jeanine Pirro announced the latest criminal indictment and sentences in Washington, D.C., in her first act as U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, marking the start of her interim appointment by President Donald Trump.

On the same day she was sworn into office, Pirro unveiled on Wednesday evening the punishment for two men who carried out a broad-daylight drive-by shooting near a D.C. elementary school.

Rasheed Mullins, 27, and Josiah Warfield, 24, were each sentenced to over seven years in federal prison for their roles in the April 2024 shooting. Mullins received 90 months; Warfield was sentenced to 100 months; both were ordered to serve five years of supervised release thereafter. Both men pleaded guilty earlier this year to assault with intent to kill while armed.

On Thursday, her office also announced the indictment of Te’Vaughn Brown, 20, for felony assault on a senior citizen before a Nationals baseball game last August, setting a trial to begin on July 14.

And Tina Peters got 9 years for copying a file? That Jena Griswold didn’t want her to copy, because she planned to illegally delete it?

“Tina Peters got 9 years for copying a file?”

IIRC, what she did with the data files was a clear duty of her job description.

Not only that, they were plea deals for involvement in the crime. They may not be the real target of the prosecution.

Are you aware that Pam Bondi has James Comey’s loyal daughter on her staff

Blondi is persecuting and prosecuting up a storm ... on Fox News. “She’s just getting all her ducks in a row; it takes time to build a case [ even though all the facts have been known for years ]; give her a break, its only 100 days; etc; & etc.”

Grats Jeanine.

It does seem like those sentences are low for that type of crime and they should spend more than that but I know she's following the rules that are on the books now.

Anyone want to guess why Pam Bondi can't seem to get her shiat together and If I'm wrong let me know. I don't have any problem saying sorry for being ignorant. :D

That was her defense. Griswold was the one doing something totally wrong, specifically “day after” wholesale deletion of records.

She is needed in Capital City! Law and order must return to the city! Hit the ground running is the only way. Watch the Liberal Long knives come out to turn her into a demented nazi.

Ive seen/heard this descriptive phrase for various people over the years. No clue what it is supposed to mean.

Rasheed Mullins, 27, and Josiah Warfield, 24, were each sentenced to over seven years in federal prison for their roles in the April 2024 shooting...also the indictment of Te’Vaughn Brown, 20, for felony assault.

Under the old regime they would have all been released, no "cash bail," and charges dropped.

I disagree she comes across as very confident and down to earth when I watched her on the five. I guess we see different things. Why do hold that opinion?

The whole J6 episode was weaponized lawfare. I don’t see how it can ever be made right.
People committed suicide, had marriages, lives, careers destroyed. Prison sentences for the perpetrators are necessary to establish the injustice & illegality for historical record but it will be a stain on our Nation 4ever.

J6 and President Trumps lawsuits are the face of the left, modern day fascists.

The prosecutor for the Diddy trial doesn’t seem to be going after him for what he was being charged with.
