This is Reform's first control of a local government.
Of the 51 seats that have been called, Reform won 39 (39 being the party's net gain), Conservatives won 10 (for a next loss of 37), Labour won zero (for a net loss of 3), and one each have been called for a Green (a net pick-up of 1) and for an independent.
In this vote thus far counted in this place, Reform won 42 percent of the vote, which is quite good in a multi-party context.
Good! I think. What are Reform’s major platforms?
