Hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett and the city of Chicago have reached a settlement in the lawsuit stemming from the phony 2019 attack, according to a report.
Smollett and the Windy City announced they have reached a settlement in the Midwestern metropolis’ $130,000 lawsuit that accused the former “Empire” actor of filing a false police report, according to NBC. The details of the settlement have yet to be announced, with both parties saying they “need more time to finalize documentation,” the outlet reported.
The city filed suit against the “Mighty Ducks” alum in January 2019 after his claim to be the victim of a homophobic, racist attack at the hands of two MAGA-heads prowling in the dark of night was exposed as a poorly crafted charade.

Never forget this hoax was a Kamala Harris campaign stunt.
In January 2019, he claimed to be the victim of a “homophobic, racist” attack by two black MAGA-heads prowling city streets in the dark of night looking for victims, but was later exposed as dumb Smollet’s for-hire invented charade.
In 2007, Smollett pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor counts providing false information to law enforcement resulting from a DUI stop in which he gave police a false name pretending to be his brother.
Smollett also pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit and driving without a valid driver’s license and was sentenced to a fine and three years of probation.
Anyone else would have been served a year in jail.
Best comedy routine ever.

Some people are so arrogant and dull-witted that they could have been lifted out of a work of English literature describing some minor character who typifies just how base and amoral people can be. Jussie’s that kinda guy.
That may be the best 5 minutes of comedy in the last 10 years. I watch it most times Smollett’s name comes up, post it if it isn’t in the thread.
The last I heard Smollett was doubling (and tripling) down on his story. At this point he’s even toxic to the Left.
