Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have arrested nearly 800 illegal immigrants after launching a statewide crackdown in Florida.
Operation Tidal Wave - a joint effort by ICE agents, Homeland Security and local law enforcement - resulted in officers arresting 780 migrants.
As part of the massive sweep, 275 people were arrested with final orders of removal, meaning a court has mandated that they leave the country already.
One of those busted was Jose Sanchez Reyes, a Colombian immigrant who entered the US illegally after being convicted of homicide in his home nation, according to Fox.
Rafael Juarex Cabrera, a Guatemalan immigrant and alleged MS-13 member, was also caught. He had illegally reentered the US three times, officials said.
Russian immigrant Savva Klishchevskii was also detained for an Interpol Red Notice out of Russia for vehicular manslaughter.
Officials said Honduran Aron Isaak Morazan-Izaguirre was taken in. He is a suspected member of the 18th Street Gang and had illegally re-entered the US twice.
ICE had used their 287(g) authority which allows for state and local law enforcement to be deputized and to arrest those in the US illegally.
The Trump administration has sought to bring in local authorities to help in their immigration operations to speed up deportations.
'This is one of the first large-scale missions we've done like this ever,' ICE director Todd Lyons told ABC News.
'We brought a "whole the government" approach with cooperative jurisdictions that want to help ICE secure communities in neighborhoods and remove public safety threats from our neighborhoods.'

Absolutely delusional expectations by some on this thread in regards to arresting these illegals. It’s not like they are lining up at the local Police station for deportation, nor registering what address they live at.

We need to deport 100,000 a week in order to have any chance to ward off the invasion Biden rammed through on us. Little bit by little bit will never even make a dent on this huge problem we’re facing. They let in 20 million or so people that they don’t even know who they are or what they’re going to do. No enemy could have ever pulled this off but the Biden crime cartel sure did.
I’d like to see Biden’s entire former staff in prison for treason, and Biden himself facing a lampost.

When five or ten thousand a day were crossing in Biden’s days, 800 is not even a blip. Not to mention each one will have to have a court appearance. Damn our RINO friends.

780 migrants... Not even a drop in the bucket when compared with the millions that came in during the O’Biden menstruation..

I’m glad ICE finally can do its job but this is a first step in a long, long road to undo Biden’s truly “insane” open borders policy.
As an aside, words like “insane” in a headline are pure clickbait. Its almost as bad as headlines saying that a certain person “just destroyed” another person in a headline.
Kill the IRS and transfer all personnel over to ICE.
That way they can earn their oversized paychecks and actually do something beneficial for the American People.
