Hazleton Mayor Jeff Cusat announced on Tuesday that the Department of Justice (DOJ) dismissed its voting rights lawsuit against the city.
The DOJ filed the suit in January of this year, alleging that the city’s “at-large” method of electing city council members resulted in Hispanic citizens having less opportunity than others to participate in electing candidates of choice.
The city filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, which had been pending at the time the case was withdrawn. …

Sounds like that lawsuit was one of the last gasps of lawfare from the Buy-dung DOJ.
Having lived near and been in Hazleton, I can say it’s a hub of sorts for illegals complete with a $20 bus service to NYC run by the Dominicans.
