A famously meat-free New York City politician secretly devoured a succulent steak inside the ultra-private upper-level room of Midtown’s beloved Benjamin Steakhouse Prime. “That means our steak is so good that even vegetarians cannot refuse,” restaurant owner Benjamin Prelvukaj said while taking Page Six on an exclusive tour of his storied Manhattan establishments.
“I saw with my own eyes,” Prelvujak added of the elected official cheating on his supposed herbivorous habits. While the identity of the politico was not confirmed, some New York-area politicians who maintain a vegetarian or vegan diet include New York Sen. Brian Kavanagh, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and New York Mayor Eric Adams.

“politician secretly devoured a succulent steak”
GUARANTEED he didn’t pay for it.
I guess it doesn’t count if you don’t pay for it.
Charles Manson was rumored to leave Spahn Ranch to a steak house getting some real food every couple weeks or so. The hippie vegetarian dumpster diving scene wasn’t really so groovy, apparently.

Is this the Bee? Or just a spectacular series of unrelated coincidences, which happen to mirror reality?
Honestly, you cannot possibly make this kind of crap up.
Why do vegetarians like to kill plants? Don’t they have a right to live? Potatoes have eyes!
Evil killers!
😉
I only eat vegan animals.
Red Foreman, looking at a bowl of rice and veggies: "That's not FOOD! That's what food EATS!"
I went through that years ago, I didnt even want to take the suckers off tomato plants or trim hedges etc, then God fixed my way of thinking more toward His.
$1,000 Tartare at Benjamin Steakhouse, With three New York locations plus an outpost in Japan,
Benjamin Steakhouse offers a steal of a lunch special ($39 for three courses, including a prime New York sirloin), but the star of the show here isn't for bargain hunters. The $1,000 Tartare lives up to its luxurious name, including tuna toro, California Gold uni, Alaska king crab, osetra caviar, wagyu beef, foie gras, black truffles, an Opus One wine reduction and, to top it all off, edible-gold leaves.
