The wide-ranging leak investigation into the Pentagon continues to claim major scalps.
Politico reported this afternoon that a third top official in the Defense Department was put on administrative leave Wednesday and escorted out of the building.
The man in question is Colin Carroll, chief of staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg.
As Politico notes, Carroll is a Marine Corps Reserve officer who has worked at Anduril, a defense contractor that specializes in autonomous systems.
He was also infamously fired by the Biden regime for allegedly creating a hostile environment. Before his termination, he served as chief operating officer of the Pentagon’s former Joint Artificial Intelligence Center.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported Secretary Pete Hegseth placed Deputy Chief of Staff Darin Selnick on administrative leave. This action followed an ongoing investigation into unauthorized disclosures of sensitive military information.
Selnick, an Air Force veteran and former senior adviser to Concerned Veterans for America, was escorted from the Pentagon on Tuesday.
A few hours earlier on Tuesday, TGP revealed that top Hegseth advisor Dan Caldwell was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday for “an unauthorized disclosure.”
According to Reuters, this suspension came after a March 21 memo ordering a Pentagon investigation into leaks ordered by Pete Hegseth’s chief of staff.
As TGP notes, Caldwell was also part of the Mike Waltz Houthi Signal chat group.
It is unclear whether his removal is tied to that incident.
This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
some of you guys need to do searches befor you post... there are too many repeat stories being posted lately. or is there another reason?
Loose lips sink ships - shocked that these people didn’t know that...but they likely did so this misconduct is intentional.
Get ‘em outta here!
This is the third one escorted out in the past few days.
How does a guy fired by Biden Admin get hired as the Deputy Sec Def chief of staff ??
You should have searched yourself. This is a third individual escorted out today. I went back and searched through all previous posts, and this story has not been reported before now.
please forgive!! (Bowing out...)

flame awy... I deserve this one...
It’s one of the reasons I stopped posting articles many years ago. Too many people were posting the exact same article. And sadly, it does still happen today. The search engine on this site isn’t all that great. That’s why I manually searched all the threads posted in the past 24 hours before I commented to you. I also stopped posting articles, because back then, FR got in trouble over the copyright laws, and I didn’t want to post anything, and have it fall back on Jim.
It’s an infestation!
Nice to see the stellar Trump vetting process is going as smoothly as it did in 2017.
Colin Carrol , when he was with Anduril.
I don’t see posting a pre-posted article as necessarily a Cardinal Sin. FR can be somewhat like a news radio station, that is known to repeat the top seven stories every few hours for those who didn’t hear it the first time. It can be helpful.
I don’t mean reposting an old story 25 times in one day.
I’ve not seen it done to extremes here. Maybe I’ve overlooked the occurrence. I’m not going to blow a gasket if it happens.
Don’t be a NeverTrumper Ass!
You know damn well his vetting process, shown by the overall stellar quality of his candidates and their MAGA track-record of results is a damned sight better then his first administration!
tt!!
There’s a “next page” link posted at the bottom of each page on FR. I use that to go back through all the threads that have been posted since the last article I read the night before to make sure I haven’t missed anything significant. That’s why I skip through the re-posted threads on the most recent page because I’ve already viewed them via the “next page” option. I don’t use the search engine because it’s never worked for me, no matter what keywords or titles I’ve searched for.
Left unexplained is exactly how these three evident leakers were discovered. Mandatory polygraphs seems the obvious answer.
