Tommy Robinson 'appeals his 18-month prison sentence for contempt of court' as activist remains on closed wing behind bars to stop Muslim inmates attacking him

Tommy Robinson is appealing against his jail sentence for contempt of court, according to court listings.

The news comes as the controversial activist remains caged in a 'closed wing' amid reports he has a 'mark on his head' and could be 'killed by a lifer'.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is serving an 18-month prison sentence for contempt of court after breaching an injunction.

After being sentenced in October last year, Robinson was admitted to HMP Belmarsh, but 'on his first day he stated he had a conflict with followers of Islam', the High Court heard.

He was then moved to HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes on November 1, but the prison received intelligence over threats to Robinson, with two other prisoners supposedly 'plotting to assault' him, the court was told.

This resulted in him being moved to a 'closed wing which cannot be accessed by other prisoners'. He still has access to a laptop, with email capabilities, and gym facilities for three hours a day.

Court listings have now revealed the 42-year-old will be challenging his prison term during a hearing at the Court of Appeal on April 11.

Robinson was locked up in October last year after admitting 10 breaches of a High Court order made in 2021.

The order barred him from repeating false allegations against a Syrian refugee who successfully sued him for libel.

Sentencing him at Woolwich Crown Court last year, Mr Justice Johnson said Robinson's breaches were not 'accidental, negligent or merely reckless' and that the 'custodial threshold is amply crossed'.

The Solicitor General issued contempt claims against Robinson last year.

The first claimed he 'knowingly' breached the order on four occasions, including by having 'published, caused, authorised or procured' a film called Silenced, which contains the libellous allegations, in May 2023.

Tommy Robinson deserves asylum in the U.S. His own country is out to get him for telling the truth.

I’m actually a bit surprised that Robinson is still alive. After all, the guards could easily make a “mistake”, and let a couple of Muslim inmates get to him.

Tommy Robinson is a patriot of White European heritage. He needs our support. He’s being persecuted for being White and calling out the Muslim problem.

We should demand Tommy Robinson to be allowed to file for exile in America.

In the video “Silenced” A bunch of people talk about how bad that little Syrian so and so is. The government was desperate to keep that suppressed.

I really can’t for the life of me understand why Trump doesn’t sanction British judges and justice officials for human rights violations in this case. Bar them all from travel to the U.S., from access to any U.S. banking or brokerage institutions, and ban them from using SWIFT for wire transfers, etc.

If it was up to me, I'll do sanctions on the UK. No American tourists allowed to the UK.

May God whisper in his ear, and may he whisper in Starmer's ear, or whomever can get the job done.
