President Donald Trump said that the United States is in the midst of an “economic revolution” and urged Americans to “hang tough” for a “historic” result.
Trump’s comments came in a Truth Social post on Saturday, just days after he announced his worldwide reciprocal tariffs aimed at offsetting trade imbalances the United States has with other nations.
“China has been hit much harder than the USA, not even close. They, and many other nations, have treated us unsustainably badly. We have been the dumb and helpless ‘whipping post,’ but not any longer,” Trump wrote.
Notable tariffs Trump announced on Wednesday that are set to take effect on April 9 include a 34-percent discounted reciprocal tariff on China, a 20-percent tariff on the European Union, and a 46-percent tariff on Vietnam.

I'm so tired of people complaining about these tariffs and how it's going to crash everybody's 401k and everybody at my workplace b#$#$_$# and moaning about his economic agenda. They can't just let it play out they have to throw their emotions against the wall. It's unbelievable.

The way I see it, in the long run, manufacturing will be done more on a regional level.
AI, robots and 3D printing will make long supply chains obsolete except for raw materials or food.
It’s going this way faster than I expected. In 1993 we got html and that changed everything. The new technology leaves that in the dust.
If we have the resources to develop robotics we won’t need large populations (ie China) to do our manufacturing.
The problem with 401ks and the market is its an immediate reaction to whats going on in the world, politics etc. In the long term, I hope and pray Trump is right but soething drastic needs to occur politically and economically in the world. In spite of all our issues, Trump knows we’re the best country in the world. China, India, Russia are on notice that there’s a new sheriff in town and Trump v1.0 ain’t it.
Yep. People should be buying stocks right now, because as other countries capitulate in the tariff war, stocks will rebound like crazy. MAGA!
A few years ago we had someone in the Oval Office talking about “fundamentally changing” America. We have seen how that attempt has not been at all favorable, even in the few areas where it seemed to gain traction. What we have now is a “fundamental reset”, getting a viable economy back on track, and in the process, busting more than a few iconic monuments that had been raised over the years, of failed programs and irrelevant redundancies that served nobody and had no actual function but to drain resources better reserved for uses elsewhere.
This is why maggots all over the world hate and are protesting against Trump. There giant Sugar Daddy sucker is gone. WE BE THE ONE THAT BE “WOKE” NOW. NO MORE FREE MONEY FOR YOU MAGGOTS.
