Does This Shocking Revelation Prove a Conspiracy in 'Signalgate' Controversy? VIDEO
https://pjmedia.com ^ | 3/27/2025 | MATT MARGOLIS

Something smells fishy about the latest developments in the ongoing 'Signalgate' situation, and it's not just The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg's questionable ethics in lurking in private government communications. A deeper dive into Signal reveals connections that should have every American concerned about the intersection of Big Tech, liberal media, and government communications.

The Biden administration specifically approved Signal for sensitive government communications, choosing it over other available platforms.

Enter Katherine Maher, the CEO of National Public Radio (NPR). Maher has shown herself to be anything but politically neutral. How extreme are we talking?

Back in 2020, Maher called Trump a “fascist” and a “deranged racist sociopath” and said that America is “addicted to white supremacy,” has publicly chastised using the phrase “boy and girl” because it “erases the language of non-binary people.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called her out for her radical views Wednesday during a congressional hearing

This is the same person who defended NPR's decision to completely ignore the Hunter Biden laptop story while simultaneously claiming that it's not biased. You can't make this stuff up.

What does this have to do with “Signalgate”? I’m glad you asked. Let's connect some dots here.

It turns out that Maher, the current CEO of NPR, who testified before Congress on Wednesday, sits on the board of directors of Signal.

The Trump administration should consider everthing having to do with Biden administration era technology to be as bugged as that desk they had to take out of the Oval office.

The Biden administration specifically approved Signal for sensitive government communications

For this reason alone it should be abandoned.

Probably every enemy nation state (and enemy MSM) has back door access.

The WH needs someone in there who knows what’s coming. After Flynn, they didn’t see this coming?

Their messaging sucks. Murkowski. Collins. The liberal media.

It’s the same playbook they used on Trump 1.0.

It is difficult to imagine that DoD and/or NSA is not crash-developing a military version of signal for classified only use, and that it would include an extra level of checking which allows only classified personnel to enter group chats.

the intersection of Big Tech, liberal media, and government communications.

Well we have discovered the real intersectionality that is driving the ruin of the world.

We have someone who runs a supposedly "neutral" public broadcasting network while simultaneously serving on the board of a secure communications platform used for sensitive government operations.

I hope everyone has figured out that there is nothing secure about a platform where a message can be sent inadvertently to an unauthorized recipient. What is at the intersection of this new intersectionality is incompetence, and corruption all drivubg rent seeking behavior. The real scandal about Signal is that anyone seriously thought that this was serving a legitimate purpose. All we need is a CIA gold seal of approval and we know that it had no pedigree whatsoever except to enable the CIA to keep tabs on everyone.

And operationally there is little difference between something that is "classified" and something that is "sensitive." Things are classified because they are sensitive. A collection of unclassified information that comprises and operational security breech is in some books classified. Folks need to stop splitting legalistic threads here unless they are sitting in the hot seat trying to explain why the release of a specific piece of sensitive info was embarrassing, but not illegal,

Isn't it odd that this was only found out AFTER she testified?
NOBODY in Congress knew she held this posittion?

Ineptitude still reigns.

Let’s look at the facts though: Signal was approved but only for non-classified material:

https://dodcio.defense.gov/Portals/0/Documents/Library/Memo-UseOfUnclassMobileApps.pdf

It says that Signal is only approved for publicly available information. “Unmanaged ‘messaging apps,’ including any app with a chat feature, regardless of the primary function, are NOT authorized to access, transmit, process non-public DoD information. This includes but is not limited to messaging, gaming, and social media apps. (i.e., iMessage, WhatsApps, Signal). “

Regardless, putting a f’n reporter in the group was a stupid self-foot-shooting. I’m losing faith in these people.

CISA recommended Signal to the Biden Administration. They should be thoroughly investigated for any part they may have played in the chat.

I’d also like to see the connection between Signal, Waltz’s various staffers, and American Oversight.

Indeed they do and you know what's really, really sad...

I was recently thinking about what they used to say during WWII.

Beware the walls have ears.

I don't know if we can truly root this "deep state" out of the system and keep them out. I am starting to think we are going to need a strong benevolent king, not another President after Trump. Don't get me wrong on this, I'm not asking for a king, I just want freedom secured from the mental illness of the left, the corruption, and people punished for trying to destroy our country.

And it is funny the other day I was thinking not quite clearly enough but there's a huge difference between what they call 'losing their democracy' vs. what we call losing our freedom. They're not the same thing at all.

What this incident shows is we cannot count on our fellow countryman to do the right thing.
