On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” New York Times columnist Ezra Klein said that “Energy would be cheaper if we just built a bunch of coal plants,” but “decarbonization is a trade-off.”
After Klein said that Texas builds tons of green energy, in part due to its regulatory structure, writer Andrew Sullivan said, “But why aren’t you producing energy from fossils and green energy?”
Klein answered, “Because I think climate change is a problem.” And “if you build a lot of coal plants, it’s going to get a lot worse.

CO2 is a plant growth stimulant. Why is Ezra Klein anti-green?
” Klein answered, “Because I think climate change is a problem.”
And l think you are a lying POS, an idiot or both.
“Decarbonization?” This idiot has no idea what she is talking about. Carbon is the backbone of all things in the human body—DNA, enzymes, energy and and a myriad of other processes. Decarbonization would entail removing carbon from everything, trees, the food supply, preventing photosynthesis, and on and on. Useful idiots parroting a subject they know nothing about.
Graduated from UCLA in 2005 with a BA in PoliSci and ever since has been a blogger and journalist. In other words, never worked a real job in his life so WTF does he know about the electric utility industry?

Hmmmmmm? So carbon isn’t a building block any longer? You know, for life and stuff.
No carbon means no life. So, decarbonizarion means the end of life.
Should have been. A BS degree.
China and India are building dozens if not hundreds of coal plants. Climate is global.
Whether we build 10 or not will have NO effect.
The said "Coal is dirty". Scientists and engineers went to work and made coal cleaner than nuclear power.
The said automobiles are dirty and smoggy. Scientists and engineers went to work and made cars cleaner than coal plants.
Nothing is good enough for these leftist freaks. Fix the problem and they will move the goal posts again.

We find your terms acceptable.
Ezra is a he.
Ok, so what? Does anything else I posted remain valid?
Ezra Klein, he of Journ-O-List fame, is not somebody I’d go to for reliable information on anything, much less anything scientific.
Everything else is valid. It was only a friendly fyi. I was confused at first trying figure out who “she” was.
thank you.................
Exactly, let’s see Ezra put his money where his mouth is. Otherwise, he can just pipe down.
