Conor has an anger problem, and has been seen trying to provoke public confrontations seemingly at random. Short Man Complex?
He’s had a short fuse since he stopped competing in the ring. Maybe he’s learning how to control and focus all that excess energy.
I suspect they will if it looks like he would likely win. Initially the EU elites in Ireland elsewhere will begin smearing him like they have Marine Le Pen, AfD and the candidate disqualified in Romania.
If smearing him doesn’t work, then absolutely they will disqualify him and could arrest him.
so the President of Ireland is an interesting office....really interesting.
It’s definitely like a Head of State, but it’s sort of more than that and less than that. It’s like the roving face of Ireland, both internally and externally. But without a lot of political muscle.
Plus, you can’t just “run”. You ahve to be nominated by 20 member of the Irish parliament. (or by a different number of the local councils).
So Conor will have to get the backing of some establishment politicians.
But....I think he will likely pull this off, and my gosh, I hope so.
The west has to start fighting back.
All distractions aside, does anyone really think he has what it takes to run a country? Or will he be smart enough to surround himself with bright people who can run the country?
