These are all true, but they are presented in a distorted fashion because the vertical axes are presented as arithmetic, and not logarithmic.
It is disingenuous to not present these charts in logarithmic form.
Let’s first stop the STUPID STUFF... and then, we can adjust as necessary.
But, we MUST stop this debt crisis.
It’s like stopping weight gain.. eventually, you HAVE to STOP eating.
Ping for later
4 AM Bump!
Remember Republicans are not much better at this than Dems. To bring the Debt under controll we must have politicians who are willing to tell those asking for money no.
We are at the point where the options are a combination of cutting total federal spending by ~50% and finding new revenues. Cuts of that level will require cuts to sacred cows (primarily Social Security and Medicare). New revenues will not come in any quantity from raising income taxes as that cut of the economy is effectively maxed at ~18%. The largest potential source of new revenues I can think of is reforming/replacing the 1872 mining law.
BINGO!
I pointed this out yesterday, when a duplicate of this article was posted here.

That’s been at the back of my mind, as well. They’ve been spending like there’s no tomorrow…..
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Trump has said a hundred times that he's NOT going to cut Social Security - and he's not going to and doesn't have to.... Elon's found magic 'money making machines, favors, influence peddling, insurance policies etc Democrats don't give 'small' to themselves.... they live large on our dime
The reason democrats keep bringing Social Security up is because they want to keep stealing money and giving it away to their friends. And the fear old people have of dying on the streets gives democrat filth the power to keep the graft going. Trump is putting an end to that. the problem IS NOT Social Security - the problem is corrupt evil democrats. Evil little sh*ts...
Not just us.
I think I’ve seen this movie...
