Trump boasted about the many accomplishments since being inaugurated Jan. 20 and exclaimed "we are just getting started."

So where is Nilesen ratings, how many people watched the Trump speech last night?

Usually, they have their ratings out by 12-00 EDT. Guess they are trying to delay the bad news to their radical democrat leadership..

CBS had a poll that stated this, and they *released* it? I am trying to determine what the catch is.

Think CBS will be able to figure out that they have been catering to the wrong crowd?
And maybe that's why their ratings have tanked?

Naaah. Me neither.

They got a fight match, nothing boring about it, where Trump beat the snot out of the petulant immature Democrats. Who wouldn't approve of it!

Not a mandate. Not a mandate. We don’t give mandates to literally Hitler.

The Democrats were disgusting. They wouldn’t acknowledge the young man who received an appointment to West Point. I did see the flag officers applauding, they usually sit still during the SOTU.

Well...I know I never watched a Biden address, and I’m guessing that goes the same way with libs. Very few probably even watched Trump’s speech. So, it was likely a very pro-Trump audience to begin with.

That being said, I don’t recall any President having that high of a poll rating on a Presidential address.

LOL! I'm showing my age, still remember when we got the Neilsen book in the mail. There was one dollar, and a book to write what we watched on TV.

Keep in mind that Republicans were far more interested in tuning in, so this should not be taken as a poll of the electorate in general. HOWEVER, they did release the breakdown of those polled, and it was something like 53% R, 25% independent, and 21% Democrat. It showed that essentially all the R’s and I’s liked it, and only the D’s opposed Trump. When you keep your base AND get ~100% of the independents, that’s a huge win.

That's the money quote right there. Trump certainly must have gotten high ratings from the indies (and there were probably a lot of them).

I got one of those too, though I think it was more like $5 by that point. And it was funny because I didn’t have a TV. (I’m too young, always had internet instead.)

Trump did to the Democrats last night what Scottie Pippen did to Patrick Ewing in the 1994 NBA Playoffs. Trump slam dunked the political ball right in their faces and hovered over them after doing it!

CBS just went ancient Greek.

They just shot the pollster for bearing “bad” numbers.
