If you watched Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress Tuesday evening, you know that Democrats behaved like children, and Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) was so disruptive that House Speaker Mike Johnson had him forcibly removed from the chamber.
Speaking to reporters after the incident, Green doubled down on his disruptive behavior and, of course, defended his childish actions.
“The president said he had a mandate, and I was making it clear to the president that he has no mandate to cut Medicaid,” Green said. “I have people who are very fearful. These are poor people, and they have only Medicaid in their lives when it comes to their health care. And I want him to know that his budget calls for deep cuts in Medicaid.”
This, of course, is not true. But Green couldn’t care less. He also called for raising the cap on Social Security and warned that Medicare could be at risk.
“He needs to save Medicaid, protect it. We need to raise the cap on Social Security,” he said. “These are the safety net programs that people in my congressional district depend on. And this president seems to care less about them and more about the number of people that he can remove from the various programs that have been so helpful to so many people.”
When asked whether yelling during Trump’s speech was the best way to make his point, Green adamantly insisted that it was. “It is the best way to get it across to a person who uses his incivility,” he claimed, seemingly oblivious to the irony. “Who uses his incivility against our civility. He is a person who has consistently… used incivility against civility.”

What an asshat.
hoodrats gonna hoodrat
Speaker Mike Johnson said that Green will be censured:
“Absolutely shameful. He should be censured,” Johnson said. “It’s a spectacle that was not necessary. He’s made history in a terrible way, and I hope he enjoys it.”
There were other DemonKKKrats who showed their hatred of Trump:
New Mexico Rep. Melanie Stansbury held up a sign that read “This is NOT normal” as Trump walked past her toward the center of the chamber.
New York Rep. Nydia Velázquez held up a “Musk Steals” sign as other Democratic lawmakers hoisted up their own “false,” “Save Medicaid” and “Protect Veterans” cards.
And even as Trump spoke, a number of Democratic lawmakers quietly exited the chamber.
Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost exited the chamber, revealing the back of his shirt, which read “No kings live here.” Rep. Jasmine Crockett also left, showing off her own shirt, which read “RESIST.”
Never has this ever happened in our history. It is all a symptom of the new hydrophobia: “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
At least he didn’t put the fire alarm
Trump has said he has no intention of cutting Medicaid.
So, not to overstate the obvious, Al Green is a clown.
Al green. I 100% honestly state that i was unaware who he even was. Not joking. If i heard his name before then i don’t recall at all. He was 100% off my radar screen!
Doug Schoen made a great observation:
Watching Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin deliver the Democratic response to the president’s speech, I felt saddened that she had to introduce herself, by dint of her credentials, and explain who she is
Just give him a good beating and we can call it even.
Dems shouldn’t have brought those signs. Already there are scores of photoshopped pictures with funny captions on the signs.
Pronto.
This is the mutant who looks like he belongs on the cover of National Geographic magazine.
He looked like Huggy Bear.
Sounds like the dims just HAD to show how utterly childish and ignorant they are. They needed a babysitter, not an audience. I thought Trump’s speech was great and I again thanked G-d he was elected.
You can measure his I.Q. by looking at a mercury thermometer in Alaska in January.
Remember back around 2008-2010 (+/-), when the demoncraps left Texas and went to Oklahoma to avoid a Texas vote?
I believe he was one of them.
I also think he is the one that had said the the word, “black-hole” was racist.
(They were discussing the economy when another said something like, ‘money going into a black-hole’.
They behaved like children alright. Worse than the Bad Seed or the children of the corn.
They probably used taxpayer money to buy them.
