So maybe Trump ‘didn’t have anything to do with’ this young man’s care and treatment, but he heard of his dream to become a police officer and took it to a rare extreme: arranging for him to become a Secret Service agent, if only in an honorary sense.

What a precious lifetime memory for this brave youngster and his family! There was not a dry eye in our family room as we watched, and to think that anyone could ignore this moment with smug indignation is beyond the pale.
