We break our own laws and lie to the citizen or keep things out of the spotlight to avoid public scrutiny, we commit horrific immoral acts using two techniques:
1.) NGOs
2.) Other governments (certain allies)
Example: We don't torture, we just happen to bring someone we literally kidnapped to Jordan or Romania (in the past) and we are present as they torture the crap out of that person. But we don't torture, technically.

These three things are lacking today. Government secrecy has been used to hide illegal activities and the entire classification system need reformed. Transparency does not exist (FOIA has been emasculated by the bureaucracy itself) and there is no government required public reporting of activities in reality. There is no accountability what so ever as long as the bureaucrat committing the offense is playing for the right team and have appropriate top cover, regardless of how egregious the offense is.

Excellent post—one of the NGO “tricks” is to censor and silence speech in the name of “guard-rails” and “fighting extremism”.
When they use government money to do that they are de facto violating the first amendment.
Those leftists are clever.
We are going to defeat them anyway.
To me an NGO is like PACs contributing to elections. There are supposedly limits to contributing: “Under the Federal Election Campaign Act (the Act), contributions are subject to limits.” Here comes PACs: “A political action committee (PAC) is an organization in the U.S. that raises and spends money to influence elections, typically by donating to candidates or advocating for specific legislation. PACs are formed by corporations, labor unions, or other groups to pool contributions from members and support political campaigns.
However NGOs and PAC look to me like ways to get around laws governing them.
I am so pleased that NGO’s are being exposed.
What I see in the mainline church related NGO’s is that the mainline church seminaries continue to graduate theologians with no church for them to be a pastor.
So the theologians go to work for the church NGO.
And the church NGO also hires journalists to help them write Grant Applications because it is difficult for journalism graduates to find a job in a declining Legacy Media outlet.
March of Dimes was a big deal when I was a child. At that time, the polio vaccine had just come out they were transitioning to helping babies with birth defects. (They started out with the goal of eradicating polio.)
After abortion was legalized and predictive tests for birth defects became available, women began aborting babies who might turn out to have even minor issues. So they had to transition to something else.
Now they’re all about maternal health, premature babies and “health equity”.

He’s exactly right. The NGO Loophole needs to be closed ASAP. There needs to be a law passed that the government either CANNOT give money to NGOs or at the very least the NGO has to fully account for every penny of public money given to them AND the NGO can have only the stated purpose for which the government is giving taxpayer money.
Giving money to the “Sweetness and Light” NGO which then funds various Leftist causes around the globe and which has absolutely no accountability to taxpayers is intolerable. As is giving money to NGO’s which fund extremely partisan coporate media or domestic political causes like gun grabbing, open borders or gender insanity.

Same phenom that I regularly ran into when doing deals with suppliers. Again and again they would spin off a portion of their deliverables to a 3rd party. And, when anything went wrong they’d say: “that is not us, you need to deal with them.”
Uhh, no, I would remind them to take another look at Article Umptysquat that clearly says they deliver all things for the $$ mentioned over in the payments section. Told them quite clearly that if they did not step in and get THEIR SUPPLIER to honor the contract terms I would cancel the contract for non performance.
NGOs are the same scam. Disperse accountability and hope no one insists on performance.

Good point. a NGO is also able to hide the identities of the people running the NGO. And hide payments to people contracted by the NGO to supposedly perform some task.
We have recently read stories about some Senator’s relative who works for a government funded NGO.
Yep. So are PACs, Foundations, 501(c) “charities,” and Trust Endowments.
