Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is under fire for an absurdly woke proposal that demeans women by calling them “inseminated persons.”
The proposed changes include replacing gender-specific terms such as “mother” and “father” with more inclusive language like “inseminated person” and “parent.” For instance, “paternity” would be updated to “parentage,” and “husband” or “wife” would be substituted with “spouse.”
Evers has defended these proposed changes, emphasizing that they are intended to provide legal clarity for individuals undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures within Wisconsin.
“What we want is legal certainty that moms will be able to get the care they need. That’s it, end of story,” Ever said, as if mothers are not receiving proper care when called women or mothers.
The proposal has sparked significant controversy and backlash, particularly from Republican lawmakers and conservative commentators. Critics argue that replacing traditional terms like “mother” with “inseminated person” undermines the role of women in childbirth and parenting.
Representative Tom Tiffany expressed his disapproval, stating, “This isn’t just crazy—it’s an insult to women who give birth and raise children.”
The debate has extended beyond political figures, with public personalities also weighing in.
Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre labeled the proposal as “nonsense,” reflecting a broader sentiment among those who view the changes as unnecessary and dismissive of traditional family roles. Opponents contend that such language alterations are examples of excessive political correctness and could lead to confusion in legal contexts.
This initiative is part of Governor Evers’ broader efforts to modernize state laws and ensure they align with the leftist woke agenda.
As the proposal moves through the legislative process, it is expected to face rigorous debate. The outcome will likely have significant implications not only for legal documentation related to family and reproductive matters but also for the broader discourse on gender identity and inclusivity in legal language. The discussions in Wisconsin may serve as a precedent for other states grappling with similar issues, highlighting the evolving nature of language and its impact on societal norms.
Haven’t they though!!!
it’s become like a fantasyland....
What’s wrong with “cum dump”?
I believe Evers said “mothers” should be referred to as “inseminated” persons, not “all women.” Apparently even Evers recognizes the difference between being impregnated by seminal fluid and being a recipient of seminal fluid.
Evers is going with the science, just because a person a recipient of seminal fluid in one fashion or another, it doesn’t make that person an “inseminated person.”
I prefer to honor the single most significant act by a human being - having babies.
They are mothers . . .
Or a human o-ring
What’s wrong about ‘with child’?
What about woman who have adopted their children because they’ve never been able to be inseminated? I hope they cause an uproar.
The new terms are the opposite of inclusive. They exclude the reality of all of human existence.
I'm a stickler for accurate verbiage. Pete's butt gets plugged and inseminated on a regular basis. That doesn't make him a Mom or a Woman.
Evers is pissed off that people have any objections to his changes. Actually the word being banished is ‘mother’.
So who will be the inseminated person and who will be the inseminator? Tony is a breeder….straight out of The Handmaids Tale.
I’m lovin’ it.
As long as Dems are infected with the woke virus the party will continue to decline.
No expert on Wisconsin, but it seems to me such talk is political suicide in a swing state.
Watched a report this morning from CBS out of Chicago on Sling freestream.
It was from Kenosha and they were looking for reactions to the Trump agenda.
Reporter went to a greasy spoon diner that served breakfast and interviewed six retired blue collar workers.
He was trolling for negativity but couldn’t find it.
Asked if they think Trump’s cuts were warranted, one replied why should we pay people to fly paper airplanes around the office.
Out of the six who were clearly friendly to each other five had voted for Trump.
The guy who didn’t admitted that Trump had a good point about waste, fraud and abuse.
This gender nonsense was not brought up, but I’m sure it would be as most of the country at least 90 to 10 against the perverts.
Misogyny to the max!
Every definition refers to doing something to a female through natural or artificial means with semen.
In an effort to bend the knee to a very, very, small group of disturbed individuals, the Guv managed to insult well over half of the population, including other semi- protected groups.
EC
No mention of Kat and her baby or her cancer unless I missed it.
WHAT DOES HE CALL GRANDPARENTS??
GREAT-GRANDPARENTS??
AUNTS? UNCLES? COUSINS????
WISCONSIN-—WAKE UP
I'm sure the Guv would argue that it is just a fetus, a blob of tissue, but certainly not a child.
“husband” or “wife” would be substituted with “spouse.”
I mean, "spouse" isn't wrong. But "husband" or "wife" is more usual. Over the decades, when I hear someone refer to their "spouse", I kind of assume they're referring to a homosexual partner.
Awwwww, someone beat me to a list of names this TWOT should be called in his face?
Darn!
