Entering a nation surrepticiously by crashing the border is NOT immigration; it’s INVASION. The fact that past presidential admins turned a blind eye and ignored the invasion may have given the seeming impression of legitimacy. It is NOT legitimate. The new Presidential Administration has taken over and will bring law and order back into operation. The Constitution, as-written, will once again be the ACTUAL law of the land. Not some fanciful leftist wet dream view of it as an elusive evolving vaping cloud!

What he is likely saying is that according to the 14th, no state can deprive any person of life, liberty or property without due process of law. As I understand it, everyone being deported or arrested has, or is going to have a hearing, i.e. due process of law.
Texas L.E.O.s helping to round up illegals will not be deporting them themselves. It’s not up to them to provide them with access to a courtroom.

But there remains the larger question: precisely how much does any part of the Constitution apply to foreign nationals in the country illegally?
The SCOTUS has said a number of Amendments do apply, but that means they are giving them quasi-citizenship status with no real justification except their own redefinition of the wording. Congress is supposed to define what rights are to recognized in the case of aliens, legal or illegal.
The lawyuh here is insinuating that they are entitled to the “immunities and privileges” of citizens in the case of the 14th. Equal Protection was about citizens, not the planetary population.
