He who saves his Country does not violate any Law.
Trump is up to something.

Lawlessness abides in its intrinsic nature. Who decides who is saving and who is not saving?
Period.
Saying that cutting out the unconstitutional portion of the the federal gov’t is unconstitutional is simply more Leftist nonsense and irrationality!
Your question pretends to say there is no answer.
But like all logically incoherent thoughts, its own presupposition contradicts its pretense.
Biden could have believed the same way about himself and what he was doing. It is not a good belief for any leader in a democratic Republic. It pretends that as long as the leader believes he is “right” he is above the law.
Is Trump just trolling using a Napoleon quote or what? I know the left is pulling its hair out again. Emperor Trump and all.
“ Trump is up to something”
Don’t doubt it
It depends on what the person saying that thinks the word “saves” means.
Because the dems have been operating this way a very long time, believing they were “saving” their country from conservatives, christians, white guys, etc.
And that something is to make liberal heads explode.
The problem is that the other side thinks this also.
“It pretends that as long as the leader believes he is “right” he is above the law.”

We have this little thing called ‘separation of powers’ that is being trampled by rampant lawfare and intensely liberal judges that is aimed at crippling a president with a strong mandate. This is mostly about governance and the usurpation of authorities used by a chief executive to manage his branch of government. Imagine if the president is going to face constant challenges by the judiciary when he is trying to manage his executive agencies and the budget in normal times, much less during periods of a national crisis. Don’t be naive, has nothing to do with being above the law, this is an intentional political vendetta designed to obstruct and weaken a conservative president.

The place for this to be resolved is the SCOTUS, not with a Chief Executive declaring nothing he choses to do breaks the law, as long as he believes he’s “saving the nation”. The judges disputing Trump quite likely think (wrongly in my view) the same belief. Does that make their actions “legitimate”?, because they have the same belief that “whatever they do ‘to save the nation’ breaks no law”? Who is usuring whose “legitimate powers”? SCOTUS, not presidential declarations, will have to decide.
Isn’t that a quote from Cicero?
“In the time of war there is no law.”
Are we a nation of laws or tyranny? Thats the choice. Joe Stalin said things awfully similar to “He who saves his Country does not violate any Law”.
