I’m not looking to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people, and always had a very good relationship with President Putin - and this despite the Radical Left’s Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. We must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process. All of that being said, I’m going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don’t make a “deal,” and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries. Let’s get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way - and the easy way is always better. It’s time to “MAKE A DEAL.” NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!

President Trump does seem to have miscalculated, or maybe he includes civilian deaths from starvation, summary shootings by Nazis, concentration camps in Nazi-held territory, people whom Stalin executed, Gulag victims, disappeared people, etc.
but here’s an official estimate - referring to “military deaths” — 27 million.
either way, it’s a staggering amount of lives lost.
And while the USA and Russia will never be BFFs, maybe, at long last, we can recoup what Bush 1 peed away after President Reagan broke the Soviet Union: a cordial friendship with Russia.
We have so much more to gain by being friends than enemies. Even if we’re not BFFs.

Time for a deal. It seems that Zelensky is a stumbling block at the moment. I heard that their are talks going on in the Middle East someplace between Russia and Ukraine. Lets get this meeting going between Putin and Trump—Brazil? Switzerland? Hungary? Any Place. Peace talks need to start and an end to the fighting.
And a lot of those "Russians" were Ukrainians. As a percentage, many more Ukrainians than Russians perished during the war.

in general folks are ignorant about just how catastrophic wwii was for the ussr. for almost anyone in the us alive today, it is conceptually unimaginable. between 1/6 and 1/8 of the population simply gone, with the worst in the western parts.
if you learn the correct est. death toll, do you really wonder why the red army parked in eastern europe and stayed?
I probably close to being accurate. The Russians lost a ton of civilians along with their trooops. Their military strategy on the way back into Russia was brutal. Their savage offensives on the way back into Germany were just as bad.
When you are outgunned and “out Generaled” you have to rely on mass attacks with inferior equipment. That leads to a lot of losses.

Upon a bit of research, the military losses and casualties were about 20 million. Civilian losses were about another 20 million. So, 40 million total is a rough estimate. That’s a lot of folks.
